  1. As much as I love outdoor television, I have my fair share of pet peeves. number two on the list, is when a pro dismisses an impressive fish as small. Perhaps it is because I'm in Northern IL, and up here bass grow slow, maybe it's due to me fishing from the bank, but when I catch a 2 pounder from shore i'm more than satisfied, a three pounder means I'm ecstatic, and a 4 pounder makes my heart skip a beat. I certainly do not however dismiss a fiesty lil uno pounder as a nuisance. My number one, and perhaps more justified pet peeve, is when somebody makes a bad/ lame shot a celebrates. for example watching whitetail freaks yesterady, the chick gut shot a buck and proceeded to squeal, celebrate and preach of her good shot. This is nearly as bad as some "pro," who was knife hunting boars; the dogs grounded him, and the guides took his legs and immobilized the boar, then said pro proceeded to stab the boar in the lung and talk about how hard this quest was. So come on my fellow outdoorsman, delve into your inner david e. petzal curmudgeon, and vent your complaints and pet peeves.
