  1. Hey guys, I am trying my hand at cleaning and lubricating my reels and I am having trouble with one in particular. It is an older browning midas, Model number MI1000HL. I can't get the handle off and I also can't get the spool out. I got the side plate off and the spool comes out a little but not all the way. There is also no nut or cover or anything on the handle loke other reels. here is a picture of the model I am working with. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!
  2. First time posting. I have read several old posts regarding how you all store your soft plastics. I do prefer the binders. But I can’t seem to find the “Browning Jumbo Worm Binders” anywhere. I really want a couple of them. Does anyone know where I could get one or another great high quality, and jumbo size binder? Please don’t make this post about how you store your plastics in totes or boxes. I want and prefer mine in a binder. I just can’t seem to locate the Browning Jumbo or Browning Goliath. Thanks so much!!!
  3. Okay, so I'm new to this forum and was perusing a thread of posted rod/reel collection photos. May I just say, WOW... And why do you need all of that? I have a browning Midas baitcaster on a st. Croix triumph rod and a pflueger president spinning reel on an Abu Garcia vendetta. I find I can throw anything I want with one of these two setups. I am BY NO MEANS saying that having more than two setups is unreasonable. I just want to know what slight nuance differences in rod or reel help to accomplish what specific task. I love looking at different tackle options online and would really like to buy something outstanding. I just need to justify the purchase somehow! Hehe. Please give me a bunch of reasons to blow a few paychecks. Thanks
