    so recently the Abu Garcia revo premier gen 4 came on sale for 50% off normally 300usd now 150usd at bass pro. i was about to order the lews tournament pro speed spool lfs but the reel caught my attention. anyone have thoughts on either of thee reels?

    I was looking at places that I can get the lews tournament pro speed spool lfs and saw that amazon has it on for about $50 less then bass pro. does anyone have experience purchasing reels of of amazon and if so how good of shape were they in I've heard of people ordering new reels and getting old beat up ones. your input would be very much appreciated.

    What is the best swimbait? Never fished swimbaits before, looking for one in bluegill or other sunfish colors, perch too. How do you rig these swimbaits too? Saw a video of these guys fishing them and it briefly showed them screwing it in to the hook. You cant rig these like a soft plastic? any reccomendations?

    In the last 6 months I discovered the power of the jig and it's now one of my confidence baits. Now I'm just debating what rod to purchase. As a high school student I've been saving up my money for a while so I want a setup that'll be money well spent. As a member of the high school bass fishing team I've come to enjoy the competitive aspect of bass fishing. Last year my friend and I placed 5th out of 21 boats in a sectional tournament (and we were the only freshmen present!). This year I'd like to step it up and add a 2nd rod to my arsenal (hopefully make it to state). My strength is pitching very accurately and thoroughly fishing an area. So the selling points of a fishing rod for me is the rod balance and sensitivity. Here are some choices below I'm debating about.     Hey guys, I am taking a trip to bassproshops soon and have some cash to spend. Right now I only fish a weedy 40 acre pond next to where i live, it has no bottom structure just mud or sand, and is a max depth of 20ft. The only thing I use right now is a T-rigged worm fished in and along the weedline in 3-10 ft of water. I am open to suggestions on what else I should try. Also I am taking a trip up to Maine with a few people and this place is supposed to be awesome for largemouth and smallmouth but I currently only have worms really. I have plenty of rods and reels and will be fishing from a bass boat in maine. Down here where I live i just use a kayak. Any suggestions would be great, Im only looking to spend 1-200$ its hard not to blow all your money there lol
