Hello ?
Was looking over the Bass Pro Spring Classic Sale in March and happen to stumble upon the New Bass Pro Johnny Morris Carbon lite 2.0 Spinning Reel. I recently just gotten a St Croix Mojo Bass Yak Spinning rod 7 ft medium-light.
Was wondering if anyone had tried out the carbon lite 2.0 spinning Reel. Is it good or am I better off with a different reel? Trying to make a light setup. The rod weight is 4 ounces and reel is anywhere from 6.7 to 7.8 ounces.
If y’all think it’s not a “great” reel, then give me your suggestions. I want to stay around $50 preferably. I think with carbon lite on sale for the price is a good deal + plus don’t need a reel trade in.
Hey guys, just wanted to hear everyone’s thoughts on the new Bass pro Carbonlites, specifically the 7” and 7’6” Hvy., and if it would make a good froggin rod.
Headed to bass pro tomorrow, mainly just to look around and do something to stay out of that heat. 95 plus degrees expected here in wonderful Michigan. I've got $30 just to blow on whatever. I figure since I'll be there, I might as well buy something.
Ok Bass Resource peeps, what should I buy?
I just went out and bought a Chronarch 51e. Mounting it on my 6'8" LTB, super pumped to use it. I have 10lb Sniper on there right now, but I might change it out. Anyhow, really small profile and very comfortable to palm, and nice and smooth. Hope I get an opportunity to use it soon!
