  1. I am going to be fishing in a kayak tournament in early March on Lake Konawa (in south Central oklahoma) amd was wondering if anyone had any advice for that particular lake? Any help would be appreciated. I think I am going to get a practice day in sometime this next week but I am not a experienced bass angler.
  2. Are the only differences between the st. Croix legend xtreme and st. Croix legend elite the price and handles? which one is more versatile and has a better feel?
  3. I know that most people would say a 7 foot medium heavy fast action rod is the best all around rod for bass fishing. this would be easy, but companies all have different standards. what would be the best for all around? a stiffer medium heavy which would be a heavy in g. loomis's standard or a medium heavy g. loomis which would be medium in st. Croix's standards. these are just a few, please say what your choice for the best all around rof would be.
  4. Hello, I've been on the market for a new m/h fast action rod. I've been looking at the st. Croix legend xtreme, and I was wondering if the rod is any good and if there is a better rod for the same price or less.
  5. Alright. So on top of the lakes and rivers I have access too, I also have three private ponds that I have full access too. Meaning I can harvest / come and go as I please. Sounds great right ? Well. It is, except for the one that my grandmother owns. Its a little over an acre and a half . the bass are stunted .they're not skinny. They're just small! The pond has been around for a couple decades and was never like this . I don't know what to do.. the bluegill are huge. Like gigantic. There's some crappie in there that are decent. And the bass are just pathetic .biggest I caught out of it this past summer was just over a pound and like 14in. Most going around 8-10. I've been told harvest. But what do I do.? What would you do.? Should I stock minnows ? Remove the bluegill ? And the bass ? I'm so lost and disappointed.
  6. Thank you.
  7. Hey Guys, I just bought a lews tournament mb for my cranking set up along with 17lb Seagaur Invizx Fluorocarbon. I've looked on a lot of forums and have seen varying opinions on what type of line to use as well as what pound test to use. I need your opinions on whether I should use the 17lb Fluorocarbon or purchase some new line.
