I fish a similar pond alot during the summer with great success (5+ pounds). I fish alot of senkos either texas rigged or wacky rigged and cast them close to the edges of the weeds and lily pads. Also later in the summer crank baits produced some nice fish. Try alot of stuff until u find the bait that works. Good Luck

I saw the Booyah Dancing buzzbait on Bill Dances show and it was catching some nice fish. So I decided I would give it a try and I picked it up at BPS. I won't be fishing till the spring but I just wanted to know what you guys think about it before I throw it in the water. Thanks

Everybody says how crank baits are amazing and can catch fish. I have bought several crank baits varying in color and brand and still have caught nothing on them. You guys got any tips?

Both seem to work with my although I have had more success in a local pond that has very low visablity with darker baits. I have had some success with brighter baits also. Just try both and see what the fish like.
