  1. Lake whitefish anyone!?
  2. The patriots have someone in their system who knows how to produce good QBs, a prime example is a no name college QB named Tom Brady to one of the best NFL qb's all time. Tebow is a Bellichek type player and was signed to be a QB. I think they work him all season and off season to completely retool his footwork and throwing mechanic. The man is a winner and that is a scary thing in the NFL, if he can get his throwing down then he can be unstoppable. Think of it as a low risk experiment that in my honest opinion will work. There is no question that the patriots system produces results at the QB position, the real question is will it work on tebow. Stay tuned folks!
  3. Hey guys, finally up in Burlington for the summer and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for some small ponds/lakes to fish in the area. I unfortunately have a small boat so Lake Champlain is not really an option for me. Obviously if I had a bigger boat thats where I would be! Somewhere that is manageable with a trolling motor is exactly what I am looking for. Thanks
  4. I would say three pounds. Its really hard to tell though. Good fish never the less!
  5. Hit another local spot last weekend and caught another six pounder! Not alot of fish but two sixs so far. Both have been caught in around 10 feet of water on a drop shot fluke. Bass have gone deeper with this hot weather now being very consistent.
  6. Got me a 6lber last week on a drop shot fluke. Fish are hitting topwater frogs around here and soft plastics. Still haven't managed any fish flipping yet this season. Heading out at some point this weekend, I am sure the water is pretty stained with all this rain.
  7. Been out twice recently, caught alot of fish on topwater frogs in the pads. Some jig fish. Nothing with much size. As for beds I haven't seen any in the normal spots I usually see them. Heading out this afternoon, see if we can't find some fish tonight.
  8. I just check and I do have the piece that has broken off, it was inside the boat. I will do so research online, thanks guys
  9. Hey everyone one my last trip out I managed to hit a small beam sticking off a dock under the water in a local pond. It put about a fist size whole in the front of my Bass Pro Shops Pond Prowler. In case you didn't know its a plastic boat sold by bps. I was just wondering what I should use to patch up the hole. Its on the curved front of the boat not on a flat surface. It needs to be waterproof because it is below the water line. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
  10. I will be back home and fishing some local spots this weekend. One of the ponds I fish regularly has very easy to locate beds so I will be sure to keep people updated on what I am seeing. We gotta be close
  11. I love it how clean and perfect they look! Keep up the good work!
  12. I have both avids and legend tournament rods. At that price the legend tournament rod is very worth it. You will not be disappointed with that rod and in general it will work fine for what you are planning on using it for. Jump on that deal, you won't regret it.
  13. I have the 7 foot version of that rod. Have had it for two years now and let me tell you it still works very well. Very durable rod and I think it has the right amount of sensitivity for cranking. Overall I think its a great rod for the money and cranking.
