    hi

yea im not having any problem spending money on tackle lol dropped 150 other day now i feel a lil better when i open my tackle box lol although the wife doesnt feel any better having hard time finding my old favorites though guess ill have to look around online and find them. only been out a few times this year and guess im rusty lol gonna try a new lake this weekend, went to scope it out and threw a few from shore got a few itsy bitsy bass but seen a monster swim by so i think it is gonna be a good day i hope lol good luck anthony
  2. ive had tons of luck using the silver minnow with a pork trailer or a mister twister type trailer and keeping it atop the pads and retrieving it at a decent pace, i know alot of people say use a frog but im more comfortable using the silver minnow method and for me its cought more big fish, make sure ya use a hefty line i always use power pro #8 diameter for the slop spots, but everyone has thier own favorite. and i always let the lure drop in the pockets and let it hover to the bottom and twitch it a few times that usually gets a strike, but this is what works best for me since its my confidence tactic hehe im sure alot here as i have found will have some trmendous ideas this is a great place for info and everyone is friendly and courteous good luck and have fun on the lake anthony

    hi

well yea rebuilding since i sold off my boat, trolling motor, trailer, ect kept all the tackle but then my cousin thought that my stuff would fish better than his so he decided to add all my tackle to his, so when i went to go fishing this year i had the rods/reels but nothing in my 3 tackle boxes was a big disapointment
  4. well i may be getting an old lund tri hull boat, talked to a guy today and he said he knows of a tri hull lund with a 90 hp mercury on it, said they want 700$ but will take alot less for it because thier is no steering console ect, so im going to go take a look at it today see how low i can get em imo the 90 merc is worth more than 700$ may be a little more boat than i wanted since id be fishing alot of the smaller lakes around the house, but hey if price is right how can ya pass it up, can always pick up a smaller jon boat for them small lakes later hehe

  6. hi, well ive been searching the web and seen alot of ideas to turn small jon boats into bass type boats, ever since i was a kid id always wanted a bass boat but i think we all are that way hehe. so now i have some free time and am tired of being stuck to the shorelines, now my question is what would be better to modify into a so called bass boat? jon boat? vhull? aluminum? fiberglass? to me a jon boat would be a pretty easy conversion but id be worried about stability, ive never been in a flat bottom boat ive been in a few 14ft aluminum row boats and they seem pretty stable. but would they be stable with raised casting decks ect? and is a jon boat stable? it would pretty much be me and probably my son fishing maybee a friend or 2 of mine on ocasion, so what should i be looking for? i hope im making sense on what i want to do with a boat hehe and thanks for all those who reply anthony
