  1. I slam my flipping stick on the ceiling all the time....good thing I dont have a fan!
  2. Knifefish
  3. Here's a picture of a ladyfish
  4. Sounds like a ladyfish, I dont know If they can get 28" though...
  5. There you go with these assumptions again...I've fished Anna more times last summer than I can count...it was our wakeboarding go to spot. And speaking from experiance a one trick pony is never going to pull in fish of size and numbers like what you are aiming for fishing dock slips and the dy kes....lake Anna is all about fishing submerged structure, old roads, underwater points and dropoffs. If you consider fishing the warm side a hard fishery than you're in for a surprise buddy. Get outside your comfort zone, it'll only make you a better fisherman in the long run.
  6. Last time I checked the potomac was littered with docks...... :-?
  7. yup it was 48 yesterday on the main river
  8. landed 6 keepers at blue plains today, lost on on a jerkbait at the boat and missed a few on shakeyhead. Fish it for around 45 minutes, wish we coulda fished longer at BP..
  9. The water there is just too shallow and and the deeper parts by the bridge are too fast moving for the bass in the cold. I'm sure they dont want to be constantly swimming against current and expending energy. If you still have my number hit me up next time you go out I'll come out too
  10. well i felt the 12 and 15 today at walmart, I wouldnt touch it with a 10ft pole, it's too stiff for my liking and a little thicker than other lines of same test strength. But if your gonna use light line for dropshot or such I still would rec the 6#, it doesnt share the same stiffness as it's thicker counterpart
  11. Here you go Jake http://www.saltwatertides.com/dynamic.dir/potomacsites.html I was at 4mr this morning for an hour, pulled in two on a spinnerbait before heading to more fruitful grounds
  12. Cant say about the Occ but were were out on the river today around the WW bridge and water was very nice, slight bluegreen tint, beautiful..we had motor issues and couldnt get to where we wanted to go
  13. I was hesitant at first after reading up on some bad reviews but a friend encouraged me to try it out and I was blown away, it seems the bad reviews are from a bad batch early on in production. The stuff on the shelves now is very limp and very manageable even in freezing weather. I have 6# on a cumara/ci4 setup and feel like it outperforms alot of other flouros out there that are twice the price. Give it a try for yourself, im sure you'll be pleasantly surprised as I was
  14. Dude I'm drawing a blank here.... :-/
  15. Great weather, crap weather, I spool up all the same!
