  1. kind of the same thing. enjoy. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8952 i bet someone on that site has done it before
  2. does anyone know a way to keep the bait from sliding up the line when a fish is on?
  3. so i was rigging it correctly. thanks guys for the help
  4. ok, do you hook them so the bend in the hook is under the toad or over it
  5. idk if I'm using these things wrong or what but every time the toad turns over and swims upside down. also i have been having problems with the baits getting ripped up when i catch a fish. it seems that almost everything the toad slides up the time or gets cut by the line and then i cant use it anymore. is there anyway to prevent this? or repair my ripped toads? i love these baits they work great but at about a buck each idk if i can afford losing one after every 2 to 4 fish.
  6. This fish is no where near 24 inches. Agreed. As I said I'm 6'1" tall and from the sole of my foot to the top of my knee is 20.5 inches and unless Gannoli is 6' 5" his lower leg isn't 24" either. i wasnt saying the fish was 24" i was just making a size reference. and yes my knee is not exactly 24" i just rounded up
  7. here is it is. the length from my foot to knee is about 24". this bass weighed in at 2.7lbs or 2lbs 11oz.
  8. i dont think those number are true. i have caught 24" bass that only weigh 2-3 lbs. they were just long and skinny. on subject, id say your bass is 2-3lbs. i have caught bigger that only weigh 3lbs ill post a picture if i can find one
  9. lets see. i have 2 main rods that i use, one spin one casting. then i have a spinning rod that i have for my friends to use if they need a pole. another spinning that rarely get used. and a fly rod. oh and my ultralight, but i rarely use that. i also have a couple rods with no reals. so thats about 6 complete rods
  10. you can try using a parasite worm clip. they are suppose to save your worms for getting ripped
  11. they seem to spin fine
  12. so i got a new spinner the other day and when i used it, it was swimming funny. the arm with the blades with wobbling back and forth. and that was causing the blades not to spin. is there any way to fix this?
  13. i dont wade but i just thought about this. get a float ring, like thishttp://pro.corbis.com/images/42-16617208.jpg?size=572&uid=%7B5383BBD4-19A3-437A-BCED-E51EAF00E1C2%7D and then stick a bucket in the hole and put your rods in the bucket. then just float the whole thing next to you
  14. trying using the technique the guy in the video uses to tie the SDJ. like the way he holds the line
  15. you should try out a compre. great rods just got one.
