I have been towing my 17 foot Tracker with my Mazda B2500's bumper with no problem.

We were standing out in the middle of the street with our next-door neighbors watching it last night when a brand new neighbor that we hadn't met came out and set up what looked to me like a very nice telescope for us all to take turns watching.

About 20 years ago Dad and I were fishing on Taylorsville Lake in Kentucky. We were in a quiet bay just after daylight and had already caught a few nice bass. There was a light mist coming off the perfectly flat water and a beagle hound was running a rabbit on the hillside above the lake. It was just a perfect day. Dad turned around and grinned at me and said, "I wonder what Jesus is doing with the boys He doesn't love this morning." The theology might not have been the best, but he certainly made his point.

I have that same boat. Mine is a 1984. Did you add the deck extension yourself? I noticed that the windshield is gone. Mine is broken and is just taped up. Do you find it a problem not having a windshield?

If you ever have the chance to watch Denny Brauer give a demonstration of pitching and flipping, jump on it. I watched him at the Bass Pro Shop in Nashville a couple of weeks ago and learned more in 30 minutes than I could have imagined.

I have a 1999 Mazda B2500 with 125,000 miles on it. I will replace it in the next couple of years with a six cylinder Mazda or Ranger with an extended cab.

Make sure it is legal to catch grass carp in your state. Florida regulations are: "Triploid grass carp are used for aquatic vegetation control and may not be stocked or harvested without a permit."

I started using them last year and I am sold on them. They have produced better than any other lipless CB I have used.

Burley, the first time I saw your new avatar I got cold chills remembering setting tobacco, topping, suckering, picking worms, cutting and hanging it in the barn, and stripping it. The cap over the center of the crank handle reminds me of an Okuma reel. They currently make a round reel that color.

The width between the fenders is 38 1/2". I believe that is going to be the critical measurement. If you choose to buy it, be ready to check the bearing adjustment and lubrication before you use it. I have had good luck with some Harbor Freight stuff.
