  2. no need to clean it before you use it... i always just use water to clean mine because i only use water based paint. yeah i wipe the needle down several times while painting with a wet paper towel.
  3. hahaha can't say i've ever been compared to jimmy page before...
  4. hahahahaha a fanny pack
  5. yes sir it is i'm surprised how many people from BR recognized it!
  6. add the proper amount of weight and you can make it do what you want. it is really buoyant though, more so than basswood.

  8. he's also a police officer :
  9. long screw eye or twisted stainless steel loop. whichever you use, be sure to epoxy it in.
  10. what do you mean?
  11. i always have a BPS speed snap in black finish tied on my crankbait rod. idk the size, but its pretty small. when i'm using the snap, i remove the split ring off the line tie, because i've found that with the split ring and the snap it makes the bait sit nose down and sometimes even start sinking when it should suspend or something along those lines. maybe i'm just ocd about it. but anyway, since the snap is not tight against the line tie like a knot would be, it allows your crankbaits to wobble more. i also use them on my little swimbaits i make.
  12. looks pretty sharp
  13. w00t! i was tied for closest! so matt, how about that bait you were using
  14. nice job. i still can't manage any jig fish...
  15. d**n thats awesome!
  16. so basically baits with no inserts are the best, and these have smooth edges inside. and baits with inserts are of lesser quality, and if you were to take the insert out, the edges would be rough inside, so you should keep them in?
  17. looks good it does need a gill.
  18. why is it that some companies boast that they have a plastic insert in their tungsten weights while others boast that they don't have inserts? tru-tungsten claims that no inserts provides greater sensitivity, which makes 100% sense to me. so which is better? insert or no?
  19. Tranny Goldfish ;D:
  20. you're gonna need a big *** tank, much more than 200 gallons. probably more like 400+.
  21. anything thats natural looking.
  22. link doesn't work. looks like it got filtered by the forum.
  23. i haven't used them before (so i'm not defending them, in fact, i actually think they're pretty gimmicky), but how can a soft plastic suck that bad?
  24. and just so you know, there is a difference between sealant and a top coat. sealant goes UNDER your paint to protect the actual wood should the top coat be breached. the top coat goes OVER the paint to protect the paint and the whole lure.
