  1. was it new or something? i thought i had seen it a thousand times? i know i've seen the nat. geo. one a lot, but i thought i saw one on animal planet too?
  2. from what i hear they're worth it. you should be able to find them cheaper than 17 dollars too, local store around here (that is usually overpriced on everything) had them for 13 bucks.
  3. www.predatorbassbaits.com has some nice models. never used them so i don't know how they perform.
  4. i'm surprised you haven't got anything on the live bait or the inline spinners.... that is usually what i catch a ton of them on. try a wooly bugger on a fly rod.
  5. +1 green pumpkin
  6. i use heat shrink tubing also, but, instead of hooking under it like in the photograph above, i hook straight through it, like you would normally hook straight through when wacky rigging. IMO this keeps the worm in place better than sliding the hook between the tubing and the worm, and it really makes the worm last since the worm can't really slide anywhere.
  7. ok, warez wizard, but i think it might be hard to launch rkill if he can't even start windows, right? 8-) haha this is true, this is true. ;D
  8. i think in most cases its just the cool factor of carrying a big *** knife...
  9. i use the mach 3 turbo
  10. well in my case, i couldn't use malwarebytes (besides the fact that i didn't have it at the time) because i couldn't even access my desktop at all, the fake copyright violation alert would come up after the login screen, and if i tried to close it a new window came up saying it was refusal to comply and asked for my home address, and if i closed that i was back to the fake alert.
  11. i busted my head on a junglegym when i was 6 years old and i got 1 or two staples in the back of my head. i don't remember any pain at all from putting the staples in or removing them. they gave my parents this cool little tool to remove it to save me a trip back to the hospital.
  12. after i deleted the registry files in safe mode, the computer seemed to work fine, then i got online and downloaded malwarebytes (it was recommended by the site that had removal instructions for the ransomware) and did a full system scan. then i got online for a bit while it was running and i was just browsing a page and norton started freaking out so i shut off my computer before anything could get infected. when i turned it back on i was just browsing the page again and norton started blocking a bunch of crap again. i ran a quick scan with malwarebytes and it found and removed 40 infected files! ran a full scan afterwards and let it finish, removed 1 more infected file. computer seems to be in good shape now.
  13. this stuff sucks! i got infected with some ransomware called AP Manager. it was an imposter copyright violation warning, and it would appear when i tried to log in, and wouldn't let me access my desktop. basically it was saying that i violated some copyright s, and there was a lawsuit against me and i could either send the case to court or settle out of court by giving them my credit card information to pay a fine. what a joke : it was a b***h to remove too! had to boot in safe mode and delete some registry files.
  14. same. i carry a folder in my pocket everywhere. and i always have a little mini Gerber Clutch multi-tool on me.
  15. right here.
  16. about how long did it take you to paint this crappie?
  17. one of the best crappie paint jobs i've seen. i thought i remembered you saying you hand paint your baits with brushes... is this the case? what paints do you use?
  18. 4" baby brush hog t-rigged (skin hooked) with a 4/0 EWG and a 1/16oz tungsten weight fished around cover is deadly here. its one of my go-to's, right up there with the 7" ribbon tail worm, and the 5" senko.
  19. junebug green pumpkin black flake and red shad and smoke are tied for third.
  20. reminds me of what got me started in bass fishing! my mom took me to the park a lot during the summers, and once when i was about 12 years old, i was fishing for bluegill (like i did every time) when all of a sudden out of nowhere a huge bass came flying in and ate one of the bluegills i was targeting! i'm sure the bass was only 15 or 16 inches or so, but i'd never seen a fish so big in the water in my life. i instantly tied on all the old junk tackle from my dads tacklebox that he had when he was a kid and tried the rest of the day to catch a bass. didn't catch one until a few months later.
  21. i'm not sure if there is such thing as "unorthodox" in bass fishing...
  22. i get a major rush just from seeing big fish on beds. sight fishing for them is so much fun to me. only thing i don't like is the short fight if you do hook up (since you're often so close to the beds).
  23. braid. for everything. even my UL's are rigged up with braid.
  24. im not too crazy about the bait but i like that green flake paintjob!! i think i'm going to try and copy this color on a few baits im painting.
  25. same hook i t-rig with... 4/0 gamakatsu G-Lock EWG. never did see a point in switching hooks when i wanted to rig it differently.
