  1. havent seen any at any of the stores that sell tackle around me.
  2. well i had a pack of some riverside worms mixed with power worms that i got at some fishing derby a long time ago. the riverside worms were BEAST!!!! they were definitley close to my favorite worms. sadly, i cant seem to find them or anything like them anywhere. the worms were ribbon tail worms about 10" long including tail, and the main body was about 1/2" think and it was triangular (i love long bulky worms) the tail was also thin wedge shape, it was thick (for a tail) but not near as thick as the body and the tail had "RIVERSIDE" stamped onto it. the body had slanted grooves pointed toward the tail but only on the top two sides, the bottom side was smooth. anyone familiar with what im describing? could anyone give me a link or company name or anything to where i could get my hands on some more (even if they are knockoffs) here is a pic of my last worm: not sure if this is a good enough picture to distinguish the worm, but my dad stuck this pig with one of the river side worms im talking about:

  5. i wonder if the handles turn and if the freespool lever works ;D ;D ;D
  6. ive seen a show on that channel where they target hugenormous stingrays in some river and they they got really big catfish in nets. i also saw a show on national geographic about snakeheads. pretty cool considering they outbreak originated right in the waters i fish. they went to indonesia or someplace and caught snakeheads on buzzbaits to test em to see if they were the same kind that were in our waters. lol i thought it was cool they used buzzbaits instead of cutbait. ;D
  7. probably not, but youre not gonna get in trouble for it, they will

  10. cool stuff. you used to be able to got to tv-links.co.uk or something like that but they got shut down and there was another one, ssupload.com but theyve been "under construction" for a few months now.
  11. well casting distance depends alot on the rod. more on the rod so than the reel. but when i was using the 5500 i casted about the same as with my citica, but not quite as far. i can cast a good 5-10 yards further with my citica than the abu. the abu just didnt have all the different brake settings and the cast control knob wasnt as sensative. citica is more high-tech and preforms better. casting distance isnt all about the reel either, it depends on the rod length, power, action; the lure weight and profile (bulky lures dont go thru the air so well) and it also depends on the skill of the fisherman too...im not the greatest caster in the world, but i dont make mistakes...im sure i could do better though. so it really all depends on many different properties, not just the reel. hope i didnt bore you to death ;D
  12. i have a st. croix avid crankbait rod AC66MM with a shimano citica100dsv reel and i havent had a chance to use it yet but the rod has just the right amount of flex for the shallow to medium cranking i do and the 6.2:1 reel is perfect for me.
  13. you could, but it wouldnt be practical. you would be best off getting a different rod for each type of fishing. heres why: crankbaits require a softera action, a rod that bends more throughout the rod. this is to prevent the trebel hooks from ripping out. soft plastics require a stiffer action, one tht bents only near the tip so that you can get a hard solid hookset. just a breif explanation, im sure someone will link you up with some more detailed stuff.
  14. looks like a well crafted masterpiece. should catch you many a big bass ;D
  15. yeah its real and they havent taken em out because it had just happend. i read an article about that. told how many they removed and everything. wish i still had that article.
  16. i think they'll be alright. 99% of sound above water is reflectd by the waters surface, its only the sound underwater taht gets amplified. as for the vibrations, im not sure how strong they are but i dont think they could be significant enough for any problems. but i dont know the first thing about aquarium keeping, those are just facts i know about the sound properties of water
  17. i must be one of the few that actually like those bull terriers : :-/
  18. HOLY FREAKING CRAP!!!! thats alot of crankbaits! wish i had taht many :
  19. as dumb as a pitbull :
  20. my friend you are wrong...rapala is the bomb diggity of balsas!!!!! ;D i dont even think bandit makes balsa baits. i could be wrong. but my vote goes to rapala with the best cranks by far!!!! amazing quality at a very affordable price. bandits would be my second choice, they make some good baits to cover all depths.
