  1. a great point! for example, we all know that Mac Weakly caught and released that 25.1lb bass out at Dixon Lake. wellllllllllll, in the pic that we are all familiar with, Mac's buddy, Mike Winn is holding the fish, not Mac. with that being said, those photos are some AMAZING BASS!!! i really have no contribution to the controversy, i dont care who's bass those are and where they came from because they are awesome! my view on this: lets not try to put down others' great catches and instead, lets admire them! George Perry's 22.4 is still in the books and it will be till someone beats it. nuff said :-X
  2. yes it is, and its not a stupid question ;D Brett, there have been many people that have been very nice to me on this board and have sent me various things (you included ). so it is my turn to be nice back
  3. big ole' waste of money!!!! save your money. that bait is not worth it for two reasons: 1.) you can barely see the hologram in it. 2.) its not much different than a regular stick w/ holo flakes. but if you MUST have some, do what i do: if i like something, but dont want to pay for it, i will try my best to mimick it myself at least cost possible, and quite often it works. the fish dont care much either. if i wanted those, i would take some prism tape, stick two pieces back to back. cut it in the little fish shape, cut a slot in the worm, stick the tape in there, and then seal the slot back up with a woodburner or any heated piece of metal really.
  4. yup sure did.
  5. I'll take a nice fat money order.
  6. turned it in today and the teacher graded it: 49/50 which is the equivalent of a 98%. i guess that is the best i can possibly do because this is the teacher that has NEVER given out a hundred. she kept it to put on display, im not sure when i get it back but im gonna make sure i do get it back.
  7. haha! ;D i LOL'd when i saw that pic! that is the most redonkulous thing i have ever seen push down on the gun hard enough and it will shoot the officer in the foot .
  8. yeah thats a whole different kind of pike (i think). its called the Baltic Pike. im not sure if the exact one in the photo is a Baltic Pike, but i know they exist, they are in Europe and they grow much larger than out Northen Pike. i did some research on it the first time i saw that photo a whilel ago!
  9. yup you sure are the lucky member and i sent it out this morning by the way im not sure what the hooks are, they are the stock hooks that came on the bait. you could change em if you like cuz i hear the stock hooks are pretty crappy (i havent really used bill lewis traps before so i dont know what the hooks are like). and you better throw it . payment for this lure is a picture of a nice smallie that fell for the bait ;D. formulagamble, i have not fished with it, as it is not mine. ask Davis in a few weeks when his waters get warmer and he can fish with it!
  10. nope, i dont even like arby's fries so i put this one in a bag and put it in the freezer! maybe i could sell it on ebay . you guys are funny ;D
  11. so i had Arby's for dinner last night, and when my dad and i brought the food home, i looked in my fry cup and saw a really long fry hanging out. when i pulled it out, only about 1/4 of it was hanging out of the cup! this fry was easlily over a foot long. it was so big i took a pic of it!!! ;D think i could get 5k for it on ebay?
  12. WOW!!! thats really funny! thanks for posting ;D ;D ;D
  13. yup, included in the bag are 8 large boxes.
  14. if you're looking for a crankbait style wake bait (like the manns) then i would most definitley go with Bandit Foot Loose. this is the best wake crankbait i have ever used. i have used the manns 1- and i found it to be cheaply made, and not very pretty either. River2Sea has a good wakebait out, they call it the v-joint minnow wake. it is 4 inches long and has three joints. very nice swimming movement.
  15. Hey this sounds intersesting, can you explain this in more detail, In PA here we have tons of fly shops. Can you explain this more? example: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_92390_175003002_175000000_175003000_175-3-2 its made for fly fisherman who target toothy fish like pike, pickerel and musky and im sure there are some other saltwater fish that require a steel leader too. the leaders are pretty lightweight so they should work well.
  16. wow what a toad!!!! congratulations!!!!!!!!! is that a new PB for you? did you get any measurements on it?
  17. thats pretty cool. but i would have never even thought about touching a dead floatey fish in the first place though...but thats just me
  18. nope...
  19. I don't understand is wrong with you
  20. .....which is exactly why im against tournament fishing
  21. Yes but that does not mean the water temps are 60! Let's take a vote, all in favor say "I". : I!!!!! Seriously now, 4 pages of nothing but nonsense :-?..... Aren't we supposed to be fishing or something???? : *looks out the window and looks at the thermometer* Maybe some time soon though. dude what the hell are you complaining about? youre in maryland. today it was in the 60's!!!! Does not mean the water temps are in the 60's (biggest quote ever [ch8593]) last time i was out the water temp was 57° oh and i voted no on the poll.....while this is EXTREMELY dumb, i have seen dumber ( ;D)......for example......."what kind of deoderant do you use?"........I don't understand?
  22. cant say i agree with you though :-/
  23. loose side plate...i dont know that the deal is here. i'd say make sure you are tightening it right like reelmechanic said, if not then return the reel. not so free spool...i noticed when i first got mine that it was a little bit less free spinning than my other reels. i have since mounted it on a 6'6" MM rod and spooled it w/ 15lb test mono and toss cranks with it......casts like a DREAM!
  24. LMAO!!!
