    Greetings,

    Welcome!
  3. Hooray! Another soft plastic to add to the collection. ;D
  4. I switch between a 3/0 and 4/0. Sometimes the bass will bite it on the 3/0 and other times on the 4/0, so I let the fish tell me which I should use.
  5. What the previous posters said. Lots of info in the fishing articles. ;D
  6. I predict the cardinals will pull the upset like they have been doing throughout the playoffs. Hoping for a good close game though. Cardinals- 28 Steelers- 24
  7. 1. Nope, caught a couple of 2-3 pounders this morning on a buzzbait and it was about 30 degrees out. 2. No, I catch them on jigs and t-rigged soft plastics year round. 3. No, t-rig them frequently 4. No, they work when needed 5. Sometimes, but the bass decide that 6. No, i hate fishing at night, harder to fix the backlashes : 7. Yes, this is why I throw what no one else is 8. All types of lures can catch big bass, its just convincing the bass that it looks like food is the hard part
  8. 150 for one bait, no thanks. It better catch a lunker every cast or its not worth it.
  9. x2
  10. 1. Culprit ribbon tail worm 2. Mann's jelly worm 3. Zoom super fluke 4. Mann's baby 1-minus 5. Buzzbait It is so hard to say just 5.
  11. G. Loomis GLX, I only have used one once and I loved it.
  12. Louisiana: 15years this February 15.97 lbs. Caney Lake, February 1994
  13. Mann's jelly worm in grape and watermelon chartreuse.
  14. I voted for Cali, because I have seen more pics of 15 lb+ bass from that state than I have from any other. But I do think that the next record could come from a number of different places.
  15. I haven't used the 12 inch worms much, but I absolutely love the 9 inch worms, and I don't see why the 12 inch ones would be any different. The jelly worm is probably the best worm on the market imho. I can catch more fish on them than I do any other worm.
  16. When you say cold, do you mean up north cold or down south cold? I would choose different for each.
  17. Depends on what the bass are wanting, if they want a lazy easy bite then I'll retrieve slowly, and if they want it fast then that is what they will get.
  18. Pop-R in silver and black. Can't beat the basic colors. ;D
  19. 1. Elude the bait monkey for more than 2 weeks 2. Break my PB, currently standing at 7.5 pounds 3. Catch a bass on a crankbait that runs deeper than 2ft.
  20. GYCB Senko Zoom Super Fluke Mann's Jellyworm Mann's Baby 1-minus Rapala Original floater Cavitron Buzz Bait (All black) Heddon Torpedo Pop-R
  21. If I am fishing from shore then I use only a tackle bag. But, if I am in a boat, I have only hard baits and terminal tackle in my tackle bag, and everything that doesn't fit in there I have in my trusty rubbermade container, which is mostly soft plastics. ;D Well that is if my friend lets me bring it, usually he does as long as we aren't in a tournament. 8-)
  22. About a year and a half ago a friend of mine caught a tagged redfish that was part of some contest and he won a boat, which he didn't need so he sold and got a big payday out of it. Makes me mad too, he should have given it to me.
