Eddie Munster, one of the things that makes my current marriage so much better then my first is the trust we have. We both have friends of the opposite sex and we both have time to go out with friends. We both know the boundries which cannot be crossed, so far only one of my friends crossed it and we do not speak. As soon as the inappropriate comment was made it was done. Basically my believe is, if I can't trust her I shouldn't have married her. The first marriage was more like yours, after a few years it started to wear on both of us. Everything that was done was done together and in the end thats what ended it. The_natural, after reading your initial post is sounds like she left because she is upset at what she said thinking that you were mad, which yeah you do have a right to be. But in the long run of life, its not really that bad it can be talked about and overcome. Just hang it there, and don't do anything out of spite or pride to make it worse.

I had a tri-fluted river anchor, emphasis on had..... first day I was using it was when I had my father in my boat for the first time. he is a worm dunker so I anchored for him. I usually just let the boat drift or use the trolling motor. Well after fishing for about 30-40 minutes went to pick up and move. Could not budge the anchor, ended up having to cut the rope. Any thoughts on what I did wrong???

Most will say the strongest your money can buy, its always good to have the extra strength at times. However just remember there has to be room for batteries, a 101lb thrust is a 36 volt so 3 deep cycle batteries are needed, that is a lot of room and weight.

Sorry if this is a little rough way to ask but not sure why not following a law you apparently knew about and the state advising you that you need to pay the penalty is their fault. Whether it was a month or a year, if you got caught or not has no bearing on the laws. There may be plenty of other reason's to hate the state but I don't see it in what you described. Most times I hear it its about taxes, or not being a right to carry state.

I don't think Clopper has that restriction, you can only put in boats you can carry. There is no ramp for trailered boats. Sad to hear someone lost their life. Was a rather odd 24 hours in this area, the night before a 47 year old lady walked into highway traffic and was struck a couple of times, early reports say it was a suicide. No problem at all, you got a good question. I have talked to a couple people who suggested it, after towing it around last year and seeing some of the bounces it took on our wonderful roads I just want to make sure no problems will occur. For 40-50 bucks it makes for a good insurance policy.

All kidding aside about the search, I can't seem to find what I am looking for. I have a 14ft jon with a 25hp johnson. I am looking for a transom saver, the problem I am having is there are not parts of the trailer at the end to hook it to. Does anyone know of a decent transom saver that extends several feet to were there is actually a support brace on the trailer?

DEJ is an average driver at best with superstar expectations for having the last name he has. I don't think the wreck itself was intentional, more a lack of maturity and car control. The two pit road incidents were clearly his fault but he tried to blame everything else. Then says it was only an inch on the line so he should not have been penalized. The rule is clear, he broke it, he got held. Its amazing the number of people who will blindly follow this average driver. Some people on other boards actually say Vickers show have let DEJ by. Are you serious?

Bama_bass, I don't have the experience of Basser89 on Black Hills but have been fishing there the last two years. There are some real nice fish there and it has a lot of bank access, you may have to walk a little. There are also some nice crappie throughout the lake, which is why the tiger musky were put there a few years ago to control that population. I have seen musky in the mid to high 40 inch range caught. As far as bank fishing spots, hard to say you can park at a couple spots close to the bridge on 121. Once inside the park there are parking lots and trails around a good portion of the lake.

Just turn the cover counter-clockwise and it will come right off, the brake setup is just underneath. I ended up putting it on 2, I now have been doing pretty well with it.

I am just starting into BC's myself, started out on a pflueger criterion, and wasn't having much luck. Just couldn't seem to get it adjusted to were I needed it. Then purchased a little better reel, a Revo S and it was a world of difference. The first trip with the revo the only adjustments I made were to loosen the spool tension. Went back to the pflueger after that and even got better with it. Guess what I am trying to say is don't "save" money on a cheaper reel, get a best your money can get. It will definately help.

I about gagged when he made the comment about his coming clean, like it should be respected. He lied over and over again about it, only when the proof was made public did he acknowledge he did. That is not coming clean, thats only trying to save face......

We as humans have feelings, whether a person dies sitting in a chair at home, walking down the street, or doing something "dangerous" we still feel for the loss. Just because he made a choice to do something "dangerous" for a living make no difference. Would his death mean more to you if he died driving to work at a regular job? His choice of work plays no part in the sadness felt for the loss of a young man in the prime of his life. The reason dangerous is in quotes is the word means different things to different people. Motorcross is called dangerous but how many deaths have you heard from it? Remember the other post of the most "dangerous" sport, it was fishing.......

I was like you last year, wondering if they actually did any good. Then went a got a bottle of KVD to try it out.....will never go without it now.

Nascar allows the crew chief for the defending champion to openly say he cheats and its up to the officials to catch him. He has been called multiple times and gets a slap on the wrist. Right now can't take baseball seriously.

Was low 20's this morning, so hit the heated water at the power plant. Good way to get over cabin fever...dress warm and head out....

Got out for a couple hours today to the heated water on the Potomac. Got 4 smallmouth with 2 in the 15-16 inch range. Not huge but worth being out when it was 22 degrees. All were caught in the first 1.5 hours there, then apparently they stopped discharging heated water, all the activity stopped.

Its in the 20's here but planning to leave here if a few to hit the heated water. My wife thinks I am nuts for even thinking about it.....
