  1. Still looking for a person who said it was harmless... don't see it.
  2. But why blame the inanimate object, and not the person who made the choice. The alcohol/drug didn't jump into the person on its own how is it responsible?
  3. Okay, had me wondering....
  4. ????
  5. Actually its not illegal, there is one called CatDaddy which is actually pretty good. Look up the story of Popcorn's moonshine which Hank Williams Jr is involved with now. Popcorn was a Tennessee man with an interesting story to his life.
  6. FishingBuds, I enjoy a cold beer periodically. But I guess to you losing loved family members, or watching relationships go south because of it. Including right now with a good friends marriage, is not traumatic enough. The point of it being an inanimate object still holds true, its not the alcohols fault, its the choice of the person using it. Life is full of heartache and chooses to be made. Blaming inanimate objects is never a justifiable response.
  7. Alcohol is an inanimate object, it cannot be good or bad. The person using it makes the choice to control its use. Blaming the object is only an attempt to deflect responsibility. Honestly have never tried pot so can't give a valid opinion on it. FishingBuds, I guess this will be your last post on this website as its a sure bet most people who post here enjoy a cold beer or stiff drink of there choice.
  8. That is one of the dumbest things I have seen...
  9. Congrats, excellent boat for the upper potomac!! Hoping to get out this saturday for a while, will probably head up to Dickerson. Its a long walk but worth it if the warm water is flowing. Glad to hear there are still some fish biting up there.
  10. My dobyns ss734c and revo stx-hs are on the way....
  11. Not to hi-jack this thread but it this may be of use to other newbies to the alberto knot. I have tried it with 20lb braid to both a 10lb and 12lb flouro leader. Seem to have a problem with the knot breaking. All I get back is the frayed end of the braid. This is happening on hooksets and when the lure is stuck. I know it has to be something I am doing wrong but can't figure it out. Anyone have any thoughts?
  12. So instead of trusting an industry of people with numerous degrees and more years of knowledge than you have been in this world. You want to trust a couple months of reading and questions to professors with your health just because of hair???
  13. The task of tracking down who sends these types of emails is a needle in a haystack at best. Scammers are not going to use their own systems, they compromise every day peoples computers who never suspect. Command and control system are all over the world which provide instructions to the drone's on what to send when. Tracing back the activity only gets you to infected systems not the culprits.
  14. Washington may try, they are losing their minds enough to bring in Jamarcus Russell for a workout....
  15. Don't blame the site, the ads come from Google. Political ads should be filtered but apparently Google is having issues with that. I am sure Glenn would love to remove them. Fortunately it will be over after today.
  16. You pretty much have it covered except for one I got on a sliderhead with a 3in senko. Was a fun day on the water, nothing big but enough bites to keep it interesting. Just wish I had a firetiger crank, they were liking it. Was a little surprised to see how cloudy the water was. Don't remember Big Pool being like that. I also had a chance to fish with TexasNovice after work once last week. Unfortunately I didn't pick a good spot, we didn't catch anything...
  17. Congrats!!!!!!!
  18. The problem I have with some of these hits is they are not even close to the tackles being described earlier in the post. Everyone was taught to put their shoulder into the players chest, wrap them up and take them to the ground hard. The problem with the hits being fined is there is not attempt to wrap up and make a form tackle. Look at Harrison's hit on the wide receiver for example. No attempt to wrap up, used his forearms to make the hit harder on the guys head.
  19. Anyone have suggestions for a gas smoker? I know wood would be preferred but need something I don't have to tend to as much as wood. Not looking for anything huge or expensive, most meals are just the wife and myself with occasional cooling for a couple people.

    Mercy!

Welcome to the site, good to see you started posting. Not sure how to explain people who are so stuck on what they use being the best. There are some posters who will do it, some even post pictures of what they use as if we couldn't figure it out. I just ignore those replies, and listen to who gives what they have tried and what they thought instead of the "just use my favorite" type of "answers". Don't let it deter you though, join in the conversations. This site is great!!
  21. Still like Red Sleigh Down, the other christmas episode with Mr. Garrisons christmas song, and Cartman singing Kyles mom is a b.... Not stuck on the christmas episodes just not seeing them mentioned. The episode when they killed off Chef was great.
  22. welcome to Maryland, sorry not much help my club is over an hour away from you in Germantown.
  23. Excellent!!!! nice bass there TexasNovice
  24. I am sure we can figure it out, I will send you a PM when I get back to get some ideas going.
  25. Thanks Basser put all the pressure on me... TexasNovice, I am out this weekend, fishing a tourney at Deep Creek. When I get back if you want to meet up just let me know, sure we can figure something out. I don't have a boat so it would be shore fishing though.
