  1. Anyone else ever watch his show? It is somewhat informative and he is an alright angler plus very entertaining.... I don't know why but every time it is on I have to watch it....
  2. I have two Rod Saver straps on each side of my front boat deck. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_13322?cm_mmc=froogle-_-100-11-7-_--1-_-38-538-147-00&hvarAID=46KY&mr:trackingCode=C11ED51B-D317-DE11-9E3C-001422107090&mr:referralID=NA You would have to screw down 4 screws but they are small and it does a good job..
  3. Did you worry about the bottom of the boat at all of just do the sides and back?
  4. Is topo maps the best thing to use to find these things out without knowing the lake? I have these $6 maps but it just basically tells the depths and such. I am looking for something with greater detail.
  5. I have a 18ft Bass Tracker that is about 12 years old. I bought it last year and have fished out of it regularly since then. I am noticing that it is oxidizing a little bit and does not shine anymore. There are some small black specks on the bow of the boat. It also is beginning to look like white or hazy spots also. My question is has anyone polished out their aluminum boat to get that wow shine from it? If so what did you use to get the oxidation off and then what did you use to polish and seal it? Also did you do the bottom of the boat and if so how did you get around where the boat is sitting on the trailer? Thanks..
  6. Where is the best place to get good online topo maps? I am wanting to find some main and secondary lake points, flats, drop offs and such for a lake I am not familiar with. How do you all go about finding this type of information before setting out on a new lake? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks!!
  7. Especially coupled with that Auburn win. Man tell me about it... It was horrible....
  8. What a Fat Ika was from RW... Man those things are killer.....I was sold on them when I was fishing a 6 ft. hump with some cut timber.... I started with a 10.5" zoom big ole worm and got nothing.. Switched to the Fat Ika faded Watermelon color and caught 8 bass ranging from 1 to 4.5 lb from the same hump, most being around 2.5 lbs..... I mean as fast as I threw it out there wham, they would hit it... It was awesome because the guy I was fishing with couldn't figure out why I was catching so many and he was getting nothing... Being the friend I am though I let him in on the secret and we went on to catch about 30 that day
  9. going to and watching college football games.... Mainly Alabama ( when they win, It was a long drive home from Jacksonville Sunday)....
  10. It depends on where I am at for me.. On the lake they do not produce but in local ponds they are killer.... Biggest one I have caught is a 6.2 pounder.
  11. I agree, but some stores think those things are gold..... Most store have them 2 for $3 which is still high for hooks, but some places try to tell them 2 for $5???? I do not understand why and how they mark them up that high.. Most of those stores are the one's around the lake though where everything is high...I even use these hooks for my zoom big ole 10.5" worms.....
  12. Yes there is a difference between Oakley and the cheap one's..... Oakley's polarized sunglasses are the clearest I have ever had... Ask him if you can try them out for a day on the water and see if you can tell the difference, but to me they are well worth the money...
  13. I use the toad hooks made by zoom, they have a screw at the top and the hook goes in from the belly to the back... Then I skin hook it on the top to make it totally weedless..If you don't want to use those hooks you can use a 5/0 gammy ewg hook.... Hook it through the head and from the belly to the back once again skin hooking it on top to make it weedless.... The Zoom hooks make it a whole lot easier though..
  14. I have been using the Suffix Siege for about 2 months now and love it.... http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=58447&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults
  15. Get a fine point sharpie and write the number on the bottom side of the crank bait.....
