Have had good luck with A 3/4 oz. Rat-L-Trap cream with agua stripe fast retrieve.Also try other colors. Sometimes change front hook to bleeding bait hook not sure if that helps but anything for more variety. Good Luck ! Sinker 48

Next you guys will be trying to tell me auto racing is not a sport. Sport or not it gives a lot of people exercise that they would not be getting setting home. The Shimano Curado is a great baitcaster take some pratice to master but you will enjoy using them when you do. Try crankbaits fishing from shore my favorite where I fish it is about 18ft. deep I think Rattle-Traps work the bestvery the colors. If you try spinning reels look at Okuma Metaloids. Good Luck ! Bassmaster1 Don't fish a lot but when I do it is usually from shore in the Oak Orchard River never have had any luck there in the fall. My choice is A rubber net. Net most all fish the docks I Fish from most of the time are to high from the water to lip the fish. The nets I have are Frabill brand. Added A plastic arm socket to the handle gives more leverage when netting yourself. Good Luck ! Sinker48 .

Not a pro at flippin & pitchin but some advice i learned was the action is in the wrist movement not arm movement. If you have problem with line catching on reel handle twist your hand so handle is pointed to ground. Good Luck ! Sinker 48

Fishing Oak Orchard river (trib of Lake Ontario)Cast a yozuri stick bait First cast let it set for a few seconds when it landed sea gull swooped down and hit it and let it go.Set pole aside for a few minutes till I thought the birds were gone. Picked pole up and cast when the lure landed a bird hit it again dropped it second bird hit it and was hooked flew with it landed in water I let the line go slack and it come free. Good Luck!
