  1. smallieking hit the nail on the head. make that fish bite. Bigger bass hit outa anger rather than hunger. so slowing down the bait would be the wrong move cuz you allow the fish to have a better look at the bait. you said it first followed the trap when u were using a fast retrieve? maybe you should have tried an even faster retrieve. Rick Clunn says that you can not work a bait faster than what a bass can swim to grab it. no reel or anything can out race a bass so by speeding the bait that bass wouldnt have a good look at that trap but the vibatrion and look of the trap would have told that bass that the bait was an injured baitfish and it would have ate it. no question
  2. yea me too i cant wait. the rain we had last week really raised the creek but is starting to drop so it delayed the spawn alittle so im thinking we will hit it dead on if nothing major happens
  3. i only use them for open water floating worms they work great for that but i have never tried them for anyother appilcations
  4. yea been up once last week on the boat the largemouths have just started spawning i caught a few on beds then i went to a point and caught a good many smallmouth that havent even looked at making beds yet sounds like a good trip where are you going this weekend?
  5. i like using a 1/8 ounce jighead with a weedguard that works great for me but i dont fish a whole lot of vegation though

  7. i had to go to bedford in the morning to pick up a tennis raquet so since i was already down there i went to raystown branch down in tatesvile for an hour caught 7 on a yum crawbug then the rain got to me and i went home the rain slowed so i went over to stoney creek and fish it water was little high but caught 3 on a powerbait beast and 6 on a micro craw
  8. yea im not sure where you could go well should be a great time fishing with you in june, i have just caught 56 bass and a new pb at cooks mills so im jacked just wondering what you are doing friday if you have work or not because i have no school and i might either go fishing at stoneycreek, elton dam or i might go play hockey so if you want to go just i'll go

I can't wait. hey are you still planning that trip with your buddy to the train trussel below cypher beach on the raystown branch? well i was talking to a guy from saxton down river alittle bit and apparently there is alot of parking and camps right beside the trussel and the fishing is very pressured just so you know
  11. thanks im not sure what organization or any thing my uncle ask me to be his partner he is a member of glendale bass club its non federation he works for glendale boat sales also smallie- yea saturday there were a few moving into non current eddies that warm faster and are in a prespawn pattern some are pretty nice i only got to fish saturday and caught 7 cant wait for this weekend though
  12. i wouldnt think that the color of the blades would matter too much im not sure all my buzzbait blades are gold i think
  13. I'm fishing a big tournament on Glendale on June 15th are you fishing in it Brett?
  14. well saturday was the first day of trout in the PA and i caught 16 trout, 3 smallmouth bass one was nice and 1 rock bass i consider that a great day!! well for april i will post pics as soon as i uploaded them
