Wow. I'm amazed that this thread is still going. I had to sell my tracker a couple of years ago and have been basically out of bass fishing since then. I've decided to start over by pulling my old 10 foot Pelican out and rebuilding her into a mini-bass hunting machine. I found this thread while googling a way to add a rudder to my boat. I read the whole thing from page 48 to page 1 before realizing that I was the first person to respond to the original question back in 2010. I haven't been on the site in over a year, but am glad to be back and am blown away by all of the mods that people have done to their bass raiders. Keep up the great work! I'm definitely going to be using some of these in my own design.

Thanks man. It was good to get out. With the two kids and my work schedule I can't fish as nearly as often as I used too. It's good to get on the water every once and awhile.

Took the 4 year old out for his first real fishing trip at my secret spot. I ended up with a solid 3 pounder, but the highlight of the day was when the little guy landed a 2lb smallie on his tiny zebco rod. He landed that fish like a boss.

Awesome Shane! I may not have caught fish yesterday, but I did snag a crazy deal at walmart. They had a KVD signature series rod mis-priced for $29.00. And then when it ran up, it was only $17!!! Not everyday I get a $160 rod for $17. Tight lines everyone.

Yeah, I got out today for about 5 hours in a friend's canoe. We caught 2 crappie and 1 bass....little over 1lb It was slow going. The only thing we got hits on was a jerkbait fished reeaaallly slow.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've been around these board. I basically took the last couple years off from fishing, but hope to be back this year. Heading out tomorrow with a friend for the first trip of the season. Weather looks good, and I have my rods ready to go.

Just a heads up, if you fish the fidelity Pond in Merrimack, security will kick you off. Even if you are an employee there you can only fish it on Sundays. Also that pond has the smallest bass I have ever seen. I mean there are hundreds of them, but they are all tiny little minnows.

Going to have to bail on the get together. It's going to be a tough year for fishing this year I think. The job is taking up alot of time, and with the new baby and the three year old, I just don't have the ability to take of for a day of fishing as often as I have in the past. Getting a bit of cabin fever up here in NH. Can't fish, and it seems too snow every other day. So the family decided to spend the day making the best GI Joe movie ever staring a 3 year old Enjoy the stupidity ;D

Has the fall bite kicked in yet? I'm limited on water time right now and wanted to see if the spinnerbite bite has started for anyone yet. It's probably still a little earlier for consistant jerk baits, but those should start really hitting again soon as well i'd think. Have fun on the water everyone

Got out on the water at Whiskey River today. 48 fish today. Another awesome day on the water. Largest was a little over 3lbs. Caught a bunch of 2lbers as well as some dinks.

I'm down for another one in october as well

It was a nice front over the handlebars, spastic superman crash. I've been riding every day I can, and actually bent my middle chain ring this morning. My LBS said they would just replace it since I bought the bike last week

Well I finally picked up the bike. I took it out on some beginner trails that last few days and have only taken one nasty spill so far. Thanks for all the help guys. Here she is.

I'm in. Probably going to be fishing with my Dad. It's unlikely that I can get him to dress up as a corporate fisherman.....but it will be fun nonetheless
