  1. Oh and if anyone is interested in durable fish catching stickbaits you can PM me for more info as I do not want to spam the board...all though I think i just might of just done that
  2. I fished these when they first came out, nailled like 5 or 6 Lm right away and thought I found the ticket to all my fishing dreams. Like any other lure, they will produce with the right conditions. I actually caught fish on the chuck woolery moto lure and the budwiser beer cap with treble hook
  3. Here is my latest favorite, I am also very partial to green pumpkin with gold flake and green pumpkin candy being my best producer. making them myself I can switch flakes and amoutns pretty easy until I find something that works
  4. LOL I know how the whole car smelling thing goes. I marinate my hand pours in my own crawfish scents or garlic scents and when i leave for the day from fishing I always forget to take off the bait I was fishing,,,,,, a few hours later and my car is smelling ripe, the bad part is I like the smell
  5. Whatever you do don't fall into the fish weren't biting thought. Fish always bite... some will argue that but the fact remains, if your not catching fish your doing something wrong. Fish bite because they are either hungry or aggravated. If they aren't hungry, then you need to aggravate them and entice them into feeding your on the right track, switch baits, switch colors, vary retrieves, the fish will let you know what they want, also once you start catching bass you 2will build up confidence in what you are using. That might be the biggest contributor to catching fish, always treat every cast as if your were going to get a fish AMost of my bass are caught on soft plastics, but I know when to switch to something different. here is one from last week
  6. nice Job, where in wisconsin are you. I have a tournament coming up in September near rhinelander, you might be interested, it's an open tournament and tons of fun, fishing and a bit of drinking drop me a line if your interested
  7. I use the floatent in my frogs, the stuff from MF. It works very well, but like mentioned it wrecks the colors unless your doing some dark solid colors, then just add more color. My frogs can hold up a 5/0 hook but they will tend to sink..very very very slowly. Do not breath that stuff in, it's not good for you at all. The fine powder hit's the air easily, you will know when you have breathed it in. be careful
  8. some custom frogs
  9. here is one of my laminates
  10. I really have no problems with hook ups on frog fishing, then again I only use soft plastic frogs, when I say soft I'm not talking about zoom horny toads either, those things are tough to pull a hook through. Try some of the hand poured ones, there are some amazing hand poured baits out there and they work better than the name brands and can cost a lot less, one word of caution, buy in small amounts first to see what kind of quality your dealing with. Not everyone uses the same ingredients. More and more pro bass fisherman are finding that hand poured baits will almost always outfish your store bought baits, they won't tell you that because the big names are who sponser them JMO
  11. I had received two of these as a gift from a friend who just knew I liked to fish for bass. Well they sat for a long time in my box and my buddy bet me I couldn't catch a fish on them. I took the challenge and hit 4 bass in the next 20 minutes or so. Yeah it's a gimmick but it did catch fish and a few of them to boot. I was listening to a radio program and chuck was on it, he is an avid bass fisherman, or so he was saying, he wasn't pushing hi9s lure on this show either, There is a time and place for every lure or bait
