Fishing deeper water? It's impossible for me to reach deep water anything deeper than 5-10 feet from shore.90% of my fishing is shallow. I'm usually done in late October- early November.Bass season closes up here in December.By then we usually start icing over anyways. If I had a boat it might be a little different.Not much though.

I snagged somebody's walleye jig eariler this year and had a 15 apound carp on the other end.Talk about a fight!

Having growing up in predominately Hispanic area....I've seen too many murals of Mexico on walls. While it is art and done legally...it's also an eye sore to me.Which I cannot and will not discuss. So if done legally,is it art? yes,to some it is. If it's done Illegally,it goes from art to crime....which it is no longer art anymore.

Are you going to the same lake all the time? Pretty much the same way here with our bass season,however I go to so many lakes it's impossible to get bored around here.There's always new fishing holes to be discovered here.

Happened to me this year....I never hooked a smallmouth by the tongue till this year.It died on me as well....I found that strange.

The advantage is if you flip to a spot and the fish hit the bait before you could turn the handle on the reel to set the hook you would miss the fish. Flipping switch already engages as soon as you let your thumb off the bar.

I really like the aquamesh water shoes.I wear size 7 1/2 though and I see 8 as their smallest size. Do they fit big or smaller than normal?

LOL...I think it's the plastic though.....I was almost tempted to taste it myself since it smelled so good to me.

My only 4 pounder came off of one this year.I could tell she spawned out when I caught her earlier this year Laugh all you want but I'm a big fan of the Luck E strike ones(walmart has em'). The ones I have smell like strawberries for some odd reason! They catch fish though!

My last run in I entered a park from the back,not paying for a parking ticket...Little did I know I was being followed by the park ranger/Warden. I drove all the way to the front of the park(2-3 miles) and got my parking ticket,made a U-turn and went back in to find my fishing spot. As soon as I pulled into the parking space He pulled up and asked if I paid for parking. I showed him my season pass since that's what I brought.then asked if I had my fishing license as well.I started to reach for my wallet "yes,sir" and he goes "nah that's OK,I believe you because I followed you all the way up front to see if you would pay for the parking pass." I guess he figured if i was honest enough about going all the way up front to get my parking he knew I had my license as well on me. Most of them I run into are like this.Some of them look like hard *****,but if you treat them with respect and honesty they'll show it back. There's been a few undercover ones that have watched me,but never approached me.They don't really mess with you here when they see you catching and releasing the fish.

Only you know what you are going to do in this situation.The advice you got is pretty much spot on,both the negative advice and positive advice.It kinda sounds like you have a tough decision to make.Something nobody here is gonna really be able to make for you. Look at every angle,situation and consequence that might come from your choice. As far as Anger issue,read some Joel Osteen.....I've been a much,much happier person since reading his book.The man has nothing but positive advice.Yes it's a bit religious....but for me it was well worth it.Make sure your wife reads it also....arguing and fighting is not good for the relationship.seems like every time I read something from you it's all I'm reading.

I agree...I'll use Yum dingers before I'll grab a senko. When I go weightless I'm using a MH spinning rig.I don't like casting weightless plastic on baitcasters.I actually have a hard time for some reason.I use 3/0-4/0 wide gap owner hooks. However I also use my M/XF Powell spinning rod also with no problems.

Don't talk to him about fishing,don't even mention it.Even if he does,don't even say anything.It's none of his business. And don't make it your business trying to prove him wrong....You can't change his opinion just like he can't change yours.It's better to leave it alone.

If somebody stole money out of your business I very doubt you would just talk to him and not do anything about it.In a way if he's cheating in tournaments he's very well stealing the money he wins. Now if you don't think that's serious enough....I can't see how you even ran a business successfully with Bernie Madoffs as workers since you say you don't punish or fire them for their actions. I know you looking at it as "he said,he said" type deal.....even if he was joking,this matter isn't and wasn't even funny.You need to be careful what you say.You can say you gonna kill somebody and not intentionally do it and still end up in prison.Some things are not to joke about....It kinda shows the person he really is.

Nope matter of fact I get less bites.Then there are days it really doesn't matter what color your hook is they'll still bite. I've never had a day where red hook were the ticket into getting more bites.So I really don't buy into it much.

I don't see them in stock....but it's one crankbait that has me excited to try out.
