I personally like throwing big spinnerbaits and shallow running crankbaits, even lipless cranks over the tops of weedbeds, in which tose pre-spwn fish are roaming on the top of the weedbeds searching for food.

Up here in WA, you could go around with a net and pick up frozen fish like at the grocery store. Hasnt been that cold, but the water temp 41F, Maybe if you add all the ice on the fish it might top 13 lbs.

I dont think that a bass fishermans skill dictates on where he is from, maybe except for being able to develop skills a little bit Quicker, such being able to fish year round, or having hard water, wind/rain storms 3-4 months of the year.

I Like Basswest and Bassin (though its like an infomercial), In fisherman, and Bassmaster

I Live up in WA so we dont have WORLD RENOUN bass fisheries but we do have some of the best bass fisheries. COLUMBIA RIVER, Takes 20 pounds to win a tourny in all seasons. Banks Lake, winning bag 10-15 lbs., but you can catch fish all day long until your arm falls off. Then there is Potholes Reservior which produces Trophy Largemouth fishing and Great smallie fishing since the occupy 2 different parts of the lake. BUT, I am going to Table Rock Lake, MO this Spring for a week and that should be AWESOME. I would have to say TB lake, from what have heard is one of the best overall lakes in the US.

I am looking for the tools to make Football Jigs with an O'shuanssy Bend Gammy Hook. Were could i get these materials, or where do they have Football jigheads with the Gammy O'shuannesy bend already made?

This issue is not talked about very much but it was in a BASS Times article and its local to me. SLUDGE in the upper COLUMBIA RIVER, Trophy smallmouth fishery and major river in US. Sludge is Debree from the air from metal plants, and plants that do all the stuff that is illegal in the US so these plants are close to the US on the Canadian Border. all this air debree drops in the water and creates a thick black sludge in the water. Fish that are cought are covered in black sludge, and the ottomfish population really has declined and is killing off many of the Fish. If you could cover this MAJOR issue, that is not very Publicaly spoke about. That would be cool

I Personally own a LCD, but i have fished with a 1984 Lowrance Flasher. I want to buy a flasher/LCD Unit in the future. Here is why i like Flashers: 1- It can define the actual bottom depth and read through thick weeds 2- You can spot fish from sturcucture easier Disadvantages, Harder to truly define cover, can only go so deep, Cant see what you just passed, etc. This is why i am going to buy a combo unit
