First Check all the Wire Connections underneath the foot pedal, if they are not connected, connect them. If it still doesnt work, take it to a dealer.
This happened once before to me, I found one of my conections popped off below the foot pedal and connected them and ran perfect again.
A Fish that size is like a 95 year old human, that bass is at its limit. they think it might have even been a 15 year old fish. With all that stress, and getting foul hooked I seriuosly dont think Its going to survive, and If it does, only for probably 1/2 a year.
COLOR IS VERY IMPORTANT, I have a Friend JEFF BOYER who fished the Bassmaster classic and one of his major sponsors is Lowrance and he does all these seminars on electronics. COLOR MATTERS, with Eagle and Lowrance you can see if its a Baitfish, Gamefish, weeds, timber or rock by the Color, IT REALLY HELPFUL!
I agree with Senko on the Sky additions, But I also Pay close attention to Water Temp. Because in WA a 2 degree difference can really get you on some active fish. Also adding on to Senko77, when it is cloudy I fish faster and cover more water, and when it is sunny I fish a tad slower and focus a little more on subtle structure.
I use Dap Plaster of Paris. when it is finally poured into the pan wait for 2 minutes then drops baits in and they will make a PERFECT MOLD, dont wait to long do it while it is a watery/milkshake consistancy.
Them use Mog Podge Sealant to seal the molds, Cedar1 told me about that one.
a 75 is just Fine, If you are new to Driving a bass boat buy a 50 or 60. But My friend has a 16 foot aluminum MAgnum Jon Boat and it has a 60 and runs perfectaly fine! Maybe with that boat a 75 Hp might mean a Jet Pump Motor? go to a local marine dealer and ask them.
Its one of my favorite ways to bed-fish. I usually use a 3/8 to 1/2 0z. Quickdrops Sinker and only have maybe a 3inch leader with a KGM Custom Baits Goby or a Ghost Baits Goby, both have lots of action and look exactly like a little fish picking off a bed.
A 25 is HIGHLY preffered, dont go lower than %75-80 of MAx horspower on smaller boats, they will not get you on plane. if you have to get 20 horse, good Luck!
Almost all Johnson Motors have bad raps, But the Faststrikes have the lowest rate of rebuilds, but even the rebuilt ones run with a heck of alot of power.
Here is a Great New sonar/GPS Combo and its a recorder with 480 pixels. It a Lowrance LMS 334

I have been making some plaster molds and i heard i need a sealant to keep the worm from sticking to the mold and create a semi-gloss finish. So What sealant do i need?
Its a Great Technique for any situation, shallower heavier cover, clear deep water. Just vary your size of plactics and hooks, also try diferent leader lengths especially tubes in shallow water.
I am shootin for
LMB: 9 lbs., i see these spawnin every once in a while in WA PB: 6 3/4
SMB: Better than my PB at about 5 1/2 lbs.
Spotted: Going to Missouri in the next month, want to try and at least catch one!
I have found a great scent that not many bass fisherman know about, Atlas Mike's Lunker Lotion, this stuff stays on for an hour on a Crankbait!! Also it is water based so it slowly dilutes in the water unlike oil scents, I use it on everything if the bite is tough. They were mainly made for salmon fishing and then made it into the bass market.
For Marinading your soft plastics before a tournament i use Upper Hand Hawg Sauce, it atually seeps into the baits!!!!
I HAve seen the difference in the spawning activity during this time. But also remember bass need Ideal weather to spawn also so if there is nasty wther duing the full moon period, head out the first warm sunny day after the bad weather and go whack'em.
First try a fluke type bait, then if they aint hittin that i would throw a senko, Lastly it them over their heads with a big topwater, youll either catch them or they will go down deep and not bother ya.
Well, Here it goes!
1. a Yamamoto DT Hula Grub in Green Pumpkin on a football head jighead 3/8-1/2 oz.
2. Dragging the Hula Grub on the bottom
3. 15 feet
4. NW Main Lake point fishing the Part of the point closest to the cove.
5. Targeting Tapering Clay points with Sparse Wood Cover
INSTINCT...... to survive those bass need to be feeding on any large crayfish that comes scuddling along that point
