    Try and play the fish and dont horse it in, also loosen your drag a little bit, also keep the rod tip below you shoulders when fighting the fish, it keeps the fish from rising to the surface sometimes.

    I read this book to and on the way back from a state tournament 400 miles away, AWESOME Book!!!!!!!!!!!! I Just loved it. I am also a person who "Does not read much" unless it involves fishing or hunting or football. This book i highly recommend.

    If i did the math right 3 cast per minute 60 minutes in an hour 8 hours in tourney 5 fish= 1 FISH PER 288 Casts on average

    Over here on the west coast, it comes on at 4:00 AM, i get up every saturday and tape it if i have a tourney, if not i watch it.

    i always wake up at 3:30 for tournaments because it what time i accedentily woke up for my first tournament, if i hadnt woken up, i would have missed my first tourny because my alarm clock did not go off.

    most of my bites are when i deadstick it or jiggle it a couple of times. especailly for smallmouth,when you deadstick a senko you will nail them

    Male= smaller fish and no egg sac in belly FEMALE=Bigger Fish and their is a egg sac on the belly, after the spawn it is usually the bigger fish

    I agree, also in my view roland martin does not want to move the sport on into the 21rst century and appeal to more people, espeacially teenagers.

    I have never had that happen, except with 4 inch smallmouth, I have heard it happens on crankbaits, never knew it happened on topwaters, good catch!
