  1. Expride b 610 med.. Or megabass p5 one ten stick...
  2. Yes I cant wait to get out.. Too much cold and ice this year so ice out will be mid April I'm guessing also...
  3. I use red all season long.. Works for me.. Pick any colour and if they bite they bite..
  4. Only the xbites I've found on par with my nrx plus...if I wasn't so scared it was gonna break every time I use it I'd have a few more... I've seen too many of my friends break theirs..
  5. If you can open it up and look at the internals.. They will probably be needing some attention..
  6. Xbites... Sensitivity is on par with nrx.. I would not go heavier than 3/8....ive used mine to throw 1/5 ned rigs no problem... I find that the 893 is more versitle tho.. You can easily throw moving baits with this rod too..
  7. 22 bantam casts so much better than 1st Gen... I hated the 1st Gen one but have 2 of the newer ones and rate them up there with my metaniuims..
  8. I've changed all my handles and drag stars to gomexus products...
  9. That's my favourite bladed jig rod... I'm not a fan of glass rods for cranking...
  10. Order straight from Japan..
  11. Megabass p5 xbites or nrx plus 893 is what I would use for 3/8 finesse jigs... 1/2 Oz I'd step up to nrx plus 873 or 894...a bit above your price range but you can find them used or on sale closer to your budget..
  12. They do not... I sold off all my champions once I got my hands on my 1st megabass orocchi...sensitivity was not even close in my hands... The only dobyns I still use are their graphite cranking rods (704cb, 705cb and 765cb)... A no go for bottom contact sensitivity for me..
  13. I buy a mix of new and old.. If they are in mint condition used for a good price I'll scoop them up..
  14. I use straight 50lb braid for chatterbaits and spinnerbaits..
  15. Just use cheap backing on your reels... Then you can save on the amount of line you will have to re spool...
  16. I like the edge boxes.. I have most of them.. The only ones I do not use are the ones for terminal tackle (I use the reg 3700s for my terminal tackle) and the crank bait specific boxes (I don't like the design of how the hold the crank baits.. I just use the regular 3700s and make my own compartments for cranks)..
  17. Most of the builds I've seen... The black box is mounted in the compartment under the seat or in a crate in the back.....there aren't too many other options... Hull storage is at a bare minimum on the autopilots.. I have a railblaza hexx transducer mount I will be using once I finally pull the trigger and add the lvs34.. I was waiting for mega live 2 to finally appear but since it's not compatible with my helix 9...garmin is the better option..
  18. If it's a new lake, yes I'll pay closer attention to electronics to help eliminate dead water....
  19. The Tackle Shop is my favourite podcast... And most of the rest that focus on kayak fishing get my attention..
  20. I added a hitch and use the Yakima long arm bed extender... Also built a rolling cart to get it in and out of my garage easily...
  21. Never... I enjoy using nicer tools... Makes my fishing experience better... Can't take my money with me when my time is up...
  22. If I could afford one, I'd be in a 2075 Lund pro v bass... They definitely have their purpose when you enjoy chasing bass
  23. Very specific... Much quicker to carry multiple setups to avoid retying on the water.. Just easier to pick up another rod...
  24. My reels are all serviced and ready to go back onto my rods... Still need to reseal all the cork with fresh coat of U40... Still 2 months before our ice all melts tho...
  25. My forever bait of the year will always be a 4.8 Keitech swing fat impact... If I need a bite, it's my number 1 confidence bait..
