@WRB or anyone for that matter that has used the knotable wire, have you noticed a difference in the amount of bits you get when using the wire? Obviously some species are different but does it seem that fish get finicky when using wire?

Hello all, I am running straight braid on a swimbait rod, i target bass but where i fish pike are common and muskie are relatively commom, i want to attach a leader but the swimbaits i use are between 3 and 6 inches so a 100lb tyrant flouro leader may be a bit overkill (the crimps/other hardware) also seem to deter bites. What is the lowest flouro i could get away with for a leader that would improve my chances of not being bit off ??

Hey everyone, I just got my first rod designated for frog fishing (Dobyns Fury Frogging Rod) and im looking for a reel to pair with it, i am currently deciding between a 13 Fishing Concept A2, Curado 200 DC, Diawa Tatula SV TW, and possibly a Lews BB1. I have frog fished alot and i usually use a reel with a large amount of drag (20+) but im wondering how nevessary that is. i plan to run 50 pound braid on the setup I know that an aluminum frame and a high gear ratio/drag are important aswell as a larger spool size but im not sure which reel is the best choice. any advice is greatly appreciated
