  1. Rapala Orig Jointed Still have it.
  2. I wouldn't want to ruin a 600$+ phone by gettting it wet... Maybe they make a waterproof case? Personally i'd get a decent / cheap camera that has waterproof features.
  3. Agree.. I got a bunch on sale for 2.50ish they seem to regularly be on sale @ BPS
  4. Cheers' Thanks. Question was mainly geared more towards the hook selection... I go to TW and look under drop shot hooks and see 30 or so choices.. I was looking at those spin shots and gammy drop split shot but didn't have a clue on size. And the baits I’m thinking would be mainly finesse worms
  5. Looking to try some new rigs next fishing season... I'll need to get some terminal tackle for them but I’m not sure what sizes, brands, weights, etc I should get... Only hooks I have now are EWG's i use for Texas rigging. Rigs I want to try: Mojo Rig Dropshot If I could get some suggestions on hooks (size and brand would help), and weights for the two. Cheers.
  6. Lipless cranks... Not going to say I never caught a fish on one but definitely not a confidence bait for me at all.
  7. Plastics: Soft frogs can be used as top water or add a little weight and swim them, senko style baits weightless, long ribbon tail worms. Texas rig is great for beggining you will have minimal snags. Hard baits: Square bill cranks, rapala origional floater
  8. I have a wave I don't carry it as much as I should it's a great tool. I usually prefer a small pocket knife that I carry at all times... obviously it won’t do what a multi tool can do though.
  9. Hang tough, I was diagnosed with crohns several years back and had my fair share of hospital visits. At least it sounds like your comfortable and under good care at the hospital. Watch your diet and try to stay stress free. Get well soon!
  10. I havent used too too many brands I usually pick a style if it works I go to town lol Worm - Senko Style Creature Bait - Have a few.. unsure of brand / name Jerk Bait - LC Pointer Spinner Bait - Booyah's have served me well Crankbait - Spro Little John Lipless Crank - xcalibur Popper - Rapala (probably the only I have tried =) Walker - LC Sammy
  11. Best to ask the company directly, You could probably also call to have your payment processed.
  12. I couldn't find BR in the past on tapatalk.. site active on there now?
  13. Avid m/XF - Diawa Tierra 2500 - 10LB PowerPro - 6lb leader. It's my walleye jigging setup but doubles for my bass drop shot needs.
  14. I'd go with MH. If your not stuck to St Croix; Check out Fenwick Tech Elite bass, better buy than a premier imo. Like mentioned above though and Avid is a very nice stick too.
  15. Get your hands on each and see how they feel.. Either of those rods would be great im sure. I have an avid I use for walleye jigging and really like it.. I also just got an Elite Tech bass rod for my bass jigs and it also feels great. Just saying I would not sweat this decision too much... either way you will get a good rod. I have never dealt with fenwicks customer service but have went through st croix several times once for a broken rod and once for an upgrade and was very happy with they way they handled everything.
  16. Never any problems with mine, pretty happy with it, I use mine for cranks.. mostly shallow stuff. I'd grab one if you need another reel for sure.
  17. Just seen 2 citicas in the flea market for around $50 - 60 ish, would be a good grab imo. I dont know the guy selling or anything just saying good reel for the price if your on the budget if you dont mind used gear.
  18. Good run by KC Bumgarner was too beast in this series
  19. I run 4 rods basically close to whats recommended in RW's link but with the addition of a heavy rod for thicker cover. I have not used a lot of different rods out there but some I can recommend in that price range: -St Croix Premier / Avid (I have not used the inbetween models rage & mojo but i'm sure they are good) -Fenwick Tech elite -Shimano Citica reel
  20. Three casting combos here, one I dont use as much but it has its purpose.
  21. I prefer spinning for weightless plastics, drop shot Casting for everything else.
  22. Shakespeare rod / reel combo not sure on the model First lures were hooks / sinkers / mepps spinners First bass I can remember catching came off a jointed rapala original floater silver / black
  23. For fun - Shallow crank (I'd also go with a spro little john) For catching #'s - Soft plastic (senko style)
  24. Any opinions on Bass Pro's Ascend models? they have pretty good reviews for a low price yak.. I'm also looking into getting my first kayak for fishing.
  25. Read the new symetres are not great compared to what they used to be, you talking the new version? Maybe I just read some bad reviews.
