  1. lake cumberland and dale hollow
  2. both of those fish were caught in 5 mins of pulling up onto one of our ledges.. i doesn't take long to figure out if they are there or not
  3. you dont need a week to too prefish you just need to know which ones to fish and when to fish them find out when there are going to pull water and find a ledge i bet you will catch them. we caught 25 fish in 30 minutes with 14 out of 15 cast catching one and about half of these fish kept. we caught alot of fish this past weekend and several over 4 lbs these went about 5lb a peice
  4. My guess is this tourney will be in the grass top water and punching and flipping them. This bite was more consistant than the ledge bite but that was do to the lack of current there for no oxygen on the drops so the fish moved to the grass and got deep in thegrass to where the oxygen was better. But i bet the grass will play a big role in this year tourneys
  5. In the wildcat and Midwest you pick you partner(so wife, father mother son daughter, or brother anyone or you can fish alone is fine). And you and you partners weight ( best 5 fish) is combined as a boat not as an individual.. in the BFL and BASS weekend series you name is randomly drawn to either be put with a boater or a co angler. And your weight are totally your own so what you catch is yours and what they catch is theres( best 5 fish) I hope this helps. If you have anymore questions let me know...
  6. If you have a boat look at the wildcat and Midwest tournies these are very low cost and great places to start. they both are team tournies also. if you dont have a boat then look at becoming a member of FLw and fish the BFL's in the lbl series or the Bassmaster weekend series they both have the positive and negatives i fished the bfls and really like them but sometimes its hard to get in them without a boater this has a for sure spot. and the Weekend series i know one of the guys that runs it and went to a few weigh ins and is a very smooth operations and usually not your huge turn out as in the BFL's. If you have any questions about any of them let me know and i will try to help answer them.
  7. I am from Owensboro, KY. I run a Stratos 295 Pro elite. i fish mostly Barkley and Kentucky. Once and a while i might venture from my home waters patoka deer creek and others..
