Hi there-
My name is Maryanne Birck and I'm the proud mom of a VERY passionate 14-year-old bass fisherman. My son, Evan, is part of the Delta Teen Bass Fishing Team, based out of Oakley, and fishes their tournament circuit. He lost his partner to a different fishing team and is looking for another passionate teen partner to join him in his tournament adventures, and would also like to expand his overall network and friends (adults and kids alike) who share his passion for bass fishing. We live in Danville, CA and he would love to have other Bay Area friends to fish with and share ideas with. If there are any other organizations that have youth members, he would also be interested in attending meetings, etc.
Do you know any teens who love bass fishing and might want to fish competitively? Or any teens who also just love to fish and would be up for weekend adventures? Are you aware of any clubs or organizations that take teen members that he could potentially join?
As his mom, I love his passion for the outdoors and fishing, and want to help him continue to pursue all of the positive things that this sport provides.
