  1. Thanks 🙏 so much!
  2. Hi,first of sorry about my question, I am a beginner. While clear coating with resin, I prefer to brush it than deep the full body, how do you protect the diving lip? Do you use painter tape? Once the resin coat is done, remove the tape, How do you clean the lip? In particular the lip part that is in proximity to the painted lure face? Thanks Quote
  3. No, the lithium battery is only for my electric motor Kota edge, for my outboard motor, Yamaha 30 HP, I got a dedicated 100 amps lead acid battery.
  4. Hi Tom I am not an English tangue, Italian living in northern Thailand, what do you mean? Don't get it. Thanks for your help and quick answers, learning a lot thanks to your kindness. You provide a chart about wires, thanks. From my battery I got 2 set of wires, one set is 6 square mm, the other 3 square mm, here in Thailand we use metric, not awg, gauge as over there in USA, I suppose. I choose 6 square mm cause the Kota edge comes with that wire size, the other set, 3 mm, connect a car cigarettes socket, it is for a 60 w spot light. 6 square mm wire for Kota Edge 3 square mm wire for car cigarette socket
  5. Thanks so much! My breaker is 50 amps, not 100. I don't have any sonar, fish finder, etc. From battery to sockets the 2 main wires length is 1.5 mt. Breaker can be used instead of fuse or better to use both? One consideration and thanks again for your will to help, really appreciated! For my Kota edge I went with a lithium battery cause I based my judgment in all the YouTube videos that I watched, it looks as the best option at list since I got my Kota edge and I read user manual. it suggests lead acid battery as best option, it says that lithium battery, cause it maintains higher voltages rates for prolonged period of time than acid lead battery, motor should not run more than 85% of its speed. By the way, I use the kota edge only while fishing, indeed I always set my motor speed 2 or 3, 4 and 5 is to fast. What do you think about base on your experience with Kota edge? Thanks 🙏
  6. Thanks, the battery is iron lithium, lifepo4, 4 cells, 3.6 v each, 14.4 v, 100 amps, more than enough to run my electric motor Minn Kota Edge 45 lb, that runs at 42 amps. I built a small "control panel" with a small display that shows me battery status: voltage, temp, etc, an Anderson socket, 50 amps, to connect the Kota Edge and a 12 v car cigarette lighter and USB sockets. All it's protected by 100 amps breaker and proper rated fuses for sockets. I got a dedicated charger for lithium too. Thanks 🙏 so much for your help
  7. Hi, I finally get a boat, Kimple trout 370 with a Yamaha 30 hp. Cause it is my first boat ever I have to learn everything about maintenance, etc. A simple question, I build myself a lithium battery, 4 cells 12 v, bms, etc. From battery can I run a set of 4 cables, "2 +", "2 -", one set for my electric motor, Minn Kota edge 45 lb, another set for a couple of plugs? I mean is it safe to run more than 2 cables from a single battery? Thanks
