  1. They are Silicone baking molds.
  2. Has anyone tried using silicone gummy worm baking molds for making soft plastic baits?
  3. Has anyone had success using spinners or spinner baits with camo brown stainless steel wire? I know they suggest camo brown SS wire for saltwater use but I’m not sure why. Looking to make some trout spinners for this winter and next spring and was curious if camo Brown SS wire might be better in Clearwater than bright SS wire for trout. Thoughts?
  4. Looking for a weight forward spinner mold. Do-It has apparently discontinued their Erie-Dearie & minnow wt. fwd. molds or list the rights to sell them. And while I haven’t come across any old ones for sale, I have found a couple of Ament molds; some that look like the old Mepps Lusox spinners & rigs.
  5. Check out the options at Barlow’s Tackle -(http://barlowstackle.com); Jann’s Netcraft -(http://jannsnetcraft.com); or Lure Parts Online -(http://lurepartsonline.com). All three have a pretty wide variety, stock, fast, secure shipping & reasonable pricing.
  6. Currently I’m looking for a few discontinued lure molds from Do-It and came across similar molds from a brand called Ament. Does anyone here at BassResource have experience or knowledge of these Ament lead molds? Any feedback regarding the advantages & disadvantages would be greatly appreciated. I love to fish and only pour sporadically with my Do-It roundhead mold when the need arises to replenish my jig fishing tackle needs.
  7. Thanks for clarifying that they’re basically the same material Fallser. And your jig looks right on the mark!
  8. When tying small jigs & flies (1/8 oz. or less), what is the major difference or advantage between using silicone skirt material or sili legs?
