  1. In our area, winter is the raining season. We only get rains from Dec to April/May. So I don't fish as much in the winter, but I tend to catch bigger fish, but less quantity. I was looking at old pictures on the other day, and I found I caught two 7 pounders in 15min in Dec., 2010. That doesn't happen every winter, but winter bass are usually bigger. One warm (for Jan) morning, I had like 30 bites, and caught about 18 bass in a few hours. That's very unusual. I actually asked my friend if he wanted to go fishing. He said it's too cold. After the morning fishing, I called the same friend, and told him about it. We went back on the next day, and it was totally different. I caught only a few fish, and he didn't catch any.
  2. The funniest moment to me was when we found our tent disappeared. One time, we went fishing/camping. After the afternoon fishing, we went back to our camp site, and we didn't see our tent. Three of us looked at each other and all our face expression was "I don't understand?". We looked around, and found the tent on the other side of the cove, floating on the water by the bank. We moved our boat over there. My buddies told me to get in the water, and grab the tent. I said why me? They said because you're the lightest. That totally made sense, because they were about 100lbs heavier than I was. The good thing was nothing like our cloths and foods weren't wet, because the tent was floating. Another funny thing happened at the same camp site a few years later. I and my buddy when there with a few kids. It was a super hot day. It was way too hot to fish in the middle of the day. We put some soda cans in the water, hoping they would stay a little cooler. Kids left a few cans above the water, which we didn't know. A couple hours later, we heard big explosion. We were like "what was that?" Then, another big noise. We went there to look at it. It was the soda cans exploded. I guess it was that hot. On the way back from the fishing/camping, we heard it was the hottest day in the history on the radio.
