Just ordered gray tint polarized prescription sunglasses with green mirror. Seems like the recommendation for small water is green mirror. Looking fwd to using it!
Interesting perspective! I will have to add matte colors as things to try.
That would be my first choice of colors to try.
Thanks both! The bait monkey approves of your support!
I have a couple of them in 2500 size. I like them because of the screw in handle, no play in the handle when engaging or stopping. They also have nice smooth drags.
Additionally they don't have mag seal. I fish freshwater only. That way, I can disassemble them for cleaning without worrying about mag seal fluid.
+1 for NRS Chinook. As other have said, nothing to fail with regards to deployment as long as the vest is worn properly. I don't find it bulky. The pockets are nice. One holds phone with tether, another holds small tools like pliers and braid cutter, others hold some snacks.
I believe VMC 7147 should work in this application. I just started using them. Their build quality is consistent and good and hooks are sharp. Have not had a chance to fish them yet.
Owner 5318 should also work...but they are expensive!
I just started powder painting. I started with a heat gun, but found it tricky on timing when doing different sizes...so I decided to use the toaster oven. Only tried it once. Seems to do OK on small batch (10 or so jigs at a time). Did the oven cool down too much with repeated opening?
