  1. Was fishing near the small boatramp at Bond Swamp, Ocmulgee river, Macon Georgia.. a guy came to the boatramp, took off all his clothes, walked down the ramp, "washed off"... put his clothes back on, got in his truck and left.. he never saw me, cause it was a swamp, was hard to see me... but it was easy to see him.... every "little" bit of him..(water musta been cold)... wasn't really funny, a little bit weird tho...
  2. Thanks.. I heard that a-rig is working good there right now also.. I'll have to rig a rod like you suggested and try it also.. THANKS..!!
  3. I know this is an old post... I fish the Oconee River out of Milledgeville, Ga.. and I usually catch more spots than largemouths.. they're still fun to catch tho...
  4. Back in the 80's, my cb radio handle was "Jelly Worm".. lol
  5. Update... I joined a wonderful Kayak club, "South East Georgia kayak Bass Fishing", and have more tournaments than I can handle now... lol.
  6. Cool, I just saw this... Thanks, I'll check him out now..
  7. Hi..! Are there any Bass Clubs near Gray/Macon Georgia for someone to join? Also, tournaments for Bass Hunter boats anywhere near the same area? Local Lakes are Lake Sinclair, Lake Tobesofkee.... surely there has to be some kind of tournaments for these type of boats...?
  8. Ok, I'm a Newby, I didn't look at the date of the post, I had searched for any posts about a pond near me that I fish at, and got this result. My bad. But thanks for welcoming me..
  9. Oooohhhh.. maybe I should've paid attention to that, huh. Lol. Thanks!
  10. I had the same problem... I got a hole on the bottom, in the back from dragging it from the truck to the water, on boat ramps.. I just drilled a hole on each pontoon, drained it, and filled the holes back in while I was re-fiberglassing the bad spots.... it still scraped thru, so then I bondo'd the places where it scrapes, and added wheels/dolly with a strap, and am gonna try to stay clear of boat ramps, and just put it in the water from the bank when and where I can..
  11. H Hey Landingthebigone, I fish at Miller Creek Pond, in Haddock/Gray all the time... is Allison and Sam Kelly's near there? I'm looking for more places to fish... maybe the alligator ate em all at Miller Creek, cause he's in there eating a lot more than I am!
  12. My "Bass Hunter" I'm restoring...
  13. I have an older model Bass Hunter that I'm refurbishing/restoring.. I only paid $150.⁰⁰ for it (no trailer), and the only thing that came with it was the 2 seats... I've repaired a couple of holes in the bottom rear section, where it wore thin from the previous owner having to drag it.. I refiberglassed it, then after 4 or 5 uses it wore thru and had a hole again. So then I bondo'd the holes, built up the thickness, and ended up making a permanent "dolly" with 2 wheels and a tie down strap that prevents me from having to drag it at all. I added a trolling motor and a Garmin Striker 4 fish finder, and repainted it. AND, I installed LED lights all around the outside, and a little on the inside.. I even fab'd up a platform on the front half to stand and fish from... I got most of everything (cept the platform, and fish finder, and paint) from Facebook marketplace.. Sooo, I have about $400 invested in it, and could sell it easily for around $700. But then I'd have to start all over again, so I won't be doing that.. All I have left to do now, is figure out what lures actually work so I can catch some fish.. It's funny tho, cause I really don't care if I don't catch any, the fun has been in my journey, not in its destination.. lol I
