  1. What other features are we talking that you find is a must-have? And would I have to get another head unit to utilize the transducer since my fish finder already has a transducer?
  2. I mean at this point all I'm really looking for is spot lock I mean do I care about routes. Not really unless there's something else that I'm missing
  3. What about motor guides xi5???
  4. I bought a 35ah mighty max battery (Amazon) it has worked extremely well for me it's going 5 years strong never let me down I bought a 35ah mighty max battery (Amazon) it has worked extremely well for me it's going 5 years strong never let me down I bought a 35ah battery off Amazon or eBay I can't remember what one but I used that with a endura Maxx 55 lb thrust and it's been going strong 5 years. As far as charging I didn't use a onboard charger I bought a battery tender it was like 40 bucks maybe 50. That setup has been great for me so far even if the battery would quit tomorrow it was well worth it. It would last me 6 hours with moderate use it never died on me. I never pushed it all the way to the limit.. the longest I fished was probably 8 hours and it still got me back to the dock
  5. I'm looking for a GPS trolling motor for my 2024 bass Tracker classic XL. I have a Garmin fish finder looking for something that's compatible if any. I know about the Garmin force and maybe one day but right now I just can't afford 3600 bucks. So I wanted to know what are my other options if any.
  6. It seems I need to consider hummingbird in this situation. I kind of counted them out but from what you guys are telling me it seems I should count lowrance out
  7. When you said go low I thought you mentioned go lowrance. I was so confused
  8. So I bought a boat and I'm looking to upgrade the fish finder. It has a lowrance basic 2D sonar fish finder on it. I'm looking to spend about 1,500 bucks. I'm not familiar with any of the operating systems. I've only used very basic fish finders as of right now. I have my eye onhttps://www.basspro.com/shop/en/lowrance-hds-pro-9-fish-finder-chartplotter?hvarAID=shopping_googleproductextensions&ds_e=GOOGLE&ds_c=BPS|Shopping|PMax|Boating|General|NAud|NVol|NMT&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw3NyxBhBmEiwAyofDYd39q457N-qwBgcQUBiVQeoNXEvVmBDHqXP0J6R1S8WJzyUT0hUSIxoCwwUQAvD_BwE orrrrr https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/garmin-echomap-uhd2-93sv-9-fish-finder-chartplotter-with-gt56uhd-tm-transducer-and-garmin-navionics-us-inland-mapping?hvarAID=shopping_googleproductextensions&ds_e=GOOGLE&ds_c=BPS|Shopping|PMax|Boating|General|NAud|NVol|NMT&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw3NyxBhBmEiwAyofDYZdsl98SZA0zWlOCdfrKw4-Ebsgk9bgJ5fmdMSHrjbmZlfwNU3uv0RoCfxIQAvD_BwE. 10. From a boat and I just have a reg 2d sonar
  11. I'm in the Northeast and I am struggling. I cannot catch a largemouth bass in my body of water that I know there are bastion. I've caught hundreds there. I don't know if I'm just not fishing in the right spot. If I'm not fishing deep enough or if I'm not throwing the right lure many factors I can use any kind of health. Current water temperature is 47.5° in the last couple days have been very windy which has been making it even more miserable and I'm starting to get discouraged. Any kind of health would be great
  12. What about if your looking for a new rod anyway or do you know of something better at that price point
  13. Has anyone tried the mojo Bass Trigon rods? I'm thinking about getting one for frogs and pitching jigs. I have the original mojo Bass 6'8 medium heavy jig n worm, rod and absolutely love it. Any input would be great

  15. So I have a question about rods I have 3 bait casters that I've been playing around with and I've read a lot online about what to use for what but I want y'all's opinion on how I should use them or how you would use them . With that being said the rods I have and how I been using them . Slx 8:1 40lb braid to 12lb floro 6'8 mojo bass st Croix med heavy fast- jigs and weighted Texas rig. Slxdc 6:5 12lb floro 7'0 dobyns fury med heavy moderate fast- spinner baits ,crank baits, small swim baits and Bass pro qualifier 7:1 straight 40 lb. Braid 7'0 falcon sr bucca med heavy moderate fast -topwater mainly frogs walking baits. I'm also looking to add a rod and maybe eliminate one of these rods, most likely the falcon. I would also like to hear recommendations for rod with a budget of 200 bucks. I appreciate all feedback. Thanks Gee
