Hey guys, long time lurker, figured it was time to get a profile after a handful of years spent searching out some wisdom here.
I’m originally from South Georgia where I was taught to tie a clinch knot before I was shown how to tie my shoes. I spent every summer break u til I was 10 or 11 fishing in central Florida with my grandmother, and have always loved having a line in the water, bites or not.
I didn’t fish as much during high school and college because I stayed so busy, but after graduating from college I’ve called Blairsville, GA my home for about 5 years. I primarily fish Nottely and Chatuge, much different ball game from where I grew up fishing - I’d never fished in more than about 15 foot of water until I moved here, so it’s been a heck of a change.
That change and my lack of knowledge fishing in deeper clearer lakes with little to no vegetation is where my Bass Resource lurking habit began haha. Thanks to everyone here and their own struggles and curiosities I’m a half decent fishermen on these lakes up here now, spending on which day you catch me on the lake.
If there’s anyone here that fishes the same areas I do I’m always eager to learn more about how you go about it. I’ll be focusing on consistently catching them deep this summer, going to do my best to stay away from the banks, wish me luck.
Y’all have a good evening!
