  1. I love the Ned rig, though my go to are weightless worms and drop shot!
  2. Hi everyone! I’m looking to purchase a Megabass Otomat. If you’ve got one available, please let me know. I’d like to work out a deal. Thank you.
  3. Did you happen to sell the Otomat?
  4. Major craft rods are definitely quality rods. I'm just not sure if I should go with the 68HM or 66M. I'd like one rod for throwing poppers and walking baits up to 3/4 oz.
  5. Hey Rutten, how has the rod been holding up for pop-max’s and dog-x’s? I’m considering picking up a Speed-style 68HM or a 66M for walking baits / poppers.
  6. Initially, for me, I like my spinning setup to throw finesse gear. I noticed I would use my spinning setup over my bait caster probably 90% of the time out on the water. It is a lot easier to cast. Though recently, I decided to try out BFS on a bait caster and I was hooked. I ended up purchasing a P5 Criffhanger paired with an Aldebaran. I cannot get enough of it. My spinning setup is a Whipsnake paired with a Lew's Pro spinning reel.
  7. I used to put them on my rods for protection, but I've stopped since I only had two. Though I usually take care of my setups with or without them.
  8. In a sense, that's pretty sweet that they are shipping out orders quickly! I usually order my terminal tackle from there.
  9. Your gear sound about right. On my setup, I usually run 10lb braid to an 8lb fluoro leader. Though I've noticed it's really hard for me to catch using a shaky head, it might be because the local pond is really pressured.
  10. Sweet video! Thanks for sharing!
  11. Okay, sweet! Yeah, I was looking at those earlier but there's something about the Destroyers that are nice to handle. The OneTen Special or OneTen stick could probably do the trick. I've got a Criffhanger myself and it handles great with soft plastics and small jigs. Well, if you ever considered wanting to sell yours, I'd definitely make a generous offer!
  12. Hi Everyone! I'm in the market for a Megabass Otomat rod. I'm starting to really enjoy topwater fishing, but unfortunately missed out on a good rod when it was available. I'm really a big fan of Megasbass and JDM gear. I like the idea of being able to throw poppers up to a kick knocker using a single rod. Any other rods you'd recommend? Thanks, I do appreciate it!
  13. Hi Steve! Welcome!
  14. Hi there!
  15. I usually go once or twice a week. Either the local pond or drive up to the lake. My brother and I recently got kayaks and it definitely feels like a game changer versus fishing from the bank.
