Like I said it's abrasion resistance was terrible...normal braid is not that great, but it's way better than the Spider Wire Flourobraid. I used it both with and with out a fluoro leader. I also didn't find that it's "siniking" properties did anything for me. It still bowed in the wind like regular braid, it didn't get cranks any deeper any faster than regular braid of the same diameter, and touch it to ANYTHING other than water and/or air and it cut like silk. I run plain jane, boring old 20lb Power Pro on my cranking rod, and can crank quite a few nasty peices of cover with it before having to retie, the flourobraid would break off often on the first cast and contact with the same stuff.
