  1. You go ahead an get the heck out of here with your non-sense LOL
  2. Everything you mentioned..... Except with the o rings/rubber bands.... I just don't like it. PLUS quite a few different ways you didn't mention..... And I am not talking, unless you're paying. I'll pm you my paypal information, then we can talk. Lmao.
  3. Well since your new to plastics, I'll dazzle you with magic......sit down so you don't hurt yourself..........................wacky rigged 5" stick bait (pick a brand/pick a color, they all work).....thank me later.
  4. I do two things...........a good overnight soak in ol'fashioned Hoppe's #9 bore cleaner/solvent....yeah that's right. It works, and has yet to harm a bearing in 15 years of doing it. Then after I take them out, let them dry, I blast them with CRC QD electrical parts cleaner.
  5. Lot-o-best's in there. I don't know the best way to tell you this, but the best one is the one I am doing the best with right now.
  6. Ice has been gone for 2 weeks today, I have been fishing 8 times......but only 3 times for more than 2 hours. I have already lost count.
  7. Everything. There is nothing they won't bite right now, there is just some stuff they bite better.
  8. Same............. As for being superstitious.............no. I am confident in my ability to locate and catch fish, I don't need to superstitious.
  9. 20lb braid with fluorocarbon leader for both.
  10. I been telling him for years he's an idiot............he don't listen to me, yet still catches fish......I know, hard to believe. LMAO
  11. Haha...there you go being all smart and stuff again. Don't you know the ONLY way a shaky head will work is if it's on the bottom WITH a worm that stands straight up. It's true, it's true, I heard it from some kid right here on Bass resource.
  12. Don't over think it. If they are biting hollow body frogs, they will bite any one of them. If your not getting bit on one, it's not because you have the "wrong" one..........more than likely you weren't around fish, or at least fish that would not come up for a frog. Only time on the water and exp. will tell you what one will be better tool in which situation for you, because what works for me, might not for you.
  13. Get a stiff spinning rod, and then you'll be one of these fools who is constantly breaking off fish on 8lb line and wondering why.
  14. From left to right.....Rapala DT 6 in Chart. Purple Shiner....it's a discontinued color, Norman Mad N, and Norman Thin N....IDK what that color is though, it's not on the norman site. Could also be a discontinued color.
  15. I'll make you a great deal on a 7' M Veritas winch...........I like the rod, but I crank grass most of the time, and it's just a little too "soft" IMHO for clean rips out of the grass. Around rocks/docks/wood it's great. I have gone to using my 7'6" MH winch rod for that, and it's much better, plus I can also toss my deep divers with it too, so the 7' M winch is kind of the odd man out of the rotation right now.
  16. Same here............ except for the breakage part.......in fact I think that's how most of mine get broken. I don't have a huge boat and when I have 8-10 rods on the deck.....sometimes they get stepped on. I would like to get DOWN to only having 8 rods or so total, right now I have 12....I can easily eliminate two, a second ML spinning rod I hardly ever use, and a 7'6" MH flipping stick, I usually just use my H for everything, and I have a 7'3" MH I like for light flipping/pitching better than the 7'6".............................woah............nice off topic rant I am starting here.
  17. Same thing that works every year, this time of year in WNY. Suspending jerkbaits, lipless cranks, and jigs. I have not fished any water above 46/47 degrees yet, except one day last week when the shallows got up to the low 50's............then they promptly took a nose dive back into the 40's with a cold spell we are in.
  18. No, never, ever. Now shut up and don't even think about mentioning it again.
  19. I have had both, IMHO, flip a coin. Both are decent rods for $50, but look around and you might find a Vendetta for close to the same money, they are better than both of those.
  20. Braid doesn't need any "conditioning" with use it becomes very limp, and has no memory. Once in a while a little spray of silicone on the line guides and reel spool will give you a little extra casting distance.
  21. I start with a frog .....well I already have...........fish it all spring and summer, and end with a frog in the fall...........LMAO at people who think you "need" heavy slop, or a certain water temp to catch fish with a frog.......fools.
  22. Things are coming along nice now for both size and numbers here. No more talking.
  23. The grub is my favorite.
  24. I have been biting my tounge on this.... I am glad some other like minded people spoke up.
