Hey so I went on their website filled the warranty out and in the subject line I put honesty is the best policy and I broke it. They emailed me today saying they couldn’t see the break in the picture and could I re submit the form so I called them and talked to someone. They are sending me a brand new replacement of the same exact rod and told me to keep my old rod take some pliers and crush it up so that serial number wouldn’t be used? Idk but I think it could repair it

Thankyou for responding so fast, so I filled out the warranty request form and took the pictures and I mentioned it was my fault ?‍♂️. But it’s less than a year old and I registered it when I bought it.

Dave I saw your post about the st croix warranty and how you used it for rods that were broken by your own fault. I broke my rod yesterday and I submitted the warranty form but I mentioned to them it was my own fault! Will they still help me out? What did they do for you???
