Which is the better choice here? I can get a good deal on an older metanium (I’d upgrade the gear to brass). The metanium would still be cheaper but would get very close to the cost of a new 150 curado. which would perform better? I’m planning to use it for chatterbaits and crankbaits.

I ordered a Curado 200m for $150 and a new 24 Tatula SV 100 for $165. I want to try the Daiwa as I have almost all Shimano. I'm considering cancelling (ordered before I made this post) the Curado and getting a 150 size reel Yeah from what I understand a Shimano 150 is equivalent to a Daiwa 100. Same follows for the 200 and 150. . They don't have the 6 speed in stock unfortunately.

I’m looking at purchasing some more shimano reels at the moment. I have a slx 70 for my jerkbait rod. A curado 200dc for my top waters, and a slx for a flipping setup. 1. What techniques do you use the different sizes for? 2. I want to get one for moving baits like chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, and plastic swimbaits. What size would be recommended and why? I’m thinking a 150. I feel like a smaller reel would feel more comfortable in my hand versus a 200. 3. Is there any JDM models I should be looking at? I’m open to Daiwa too.

I have the opportunity to purchase older Curados from 2015-2017 era. They are in great shape. If I can get them for a good deal are they about the same performance as the newer Curados?

Awesome, I just bought it. I have a Curado currently and love it. How did you find out about each type of Shimano reel? I'm looking to buy more in the future, but there's just so many models and I don't really understand the difference between them.

I have the same exact rod just in the medium. I'm open to Daiwa. I'm just confused at the difference between everything. I just need a left handed low gear ratio cranking reel. If you had to pick one or two of these which would you pick??

I'm overwhelmed by all the different reel choices Shimano has. Can someone help me out? I want to get a reel for cranking. Right now its going on a medium moderate rod, but may end up on a medium heavy moderate.

Thanks for all the input! I think i'm going to get another 3700 edge. I did order the Plano terminal edge back in July and ended up returning it. I can kick myself now for returning with how much more they are now...

What is everyone's method for storing terminal tackle? I'm considering upgrading all of my boxes to the Buzbe boxes or keeping my existing 3700's and buying the Plano Edge Terminal box.
