  1. Do you have the fast or mod fast version? For me, it comes down to if the Bucoo and Lowrider actions are similar between those two models and less importantly if I'd rather have cork or EVA.
  2. Thank you for writing that up, that was super helpful. I like a faster rod for lipless and this will only be for crankbaits, but like you I only want to bring one crankbait rod. It sounds like I can get away with throwing 1/4oz on the 5-17 and it can definitely handle the top end of what I throw. From what you know of the two series, do you think there's a big difference between the Bucoo 4-17 Trap Caster and the Lowrider LFC-7MH All Around?
  3. I'm hoping to get some of your insight on a few crankbait rods I'm looking at. I'm mostly going to throw 1/4oz - 1/2oz crankbaits that dive 6'-10'. I used to have a glass rod for it but I want to go back to graphite. I'm looking at these models, do you have any experience with them? Bucoo BRC-4-17 Cranker (medium/moderate) Bucoo BRC-5-17 Trap Caster (medium heavy/mod fast) Lowrider LFC-7M (medium/moderate) Lowrider LFC-7MH (medium heavy/mod fast)
  4. I'm looking at the Falcon Lowrider 7'6" Cranker. Can it throw 1/4oz crankbaits that dive 6' as well as 1/2oz cranks that dive 10'? I'm looking at the Falcon Lowrider 7'6" Cranker. Can it throw 1/4oz crankbaits that dive 6' as well as 1/2oz cranks that dive 10'?
  5. @Shismano@Fishin Dad I called the store earlier, was put on hold for 10 minutes twice and hung up on, and the third time they gave me the tracking number. No email updates or anything, but I'm pretty happy it's on the way. Hopefully you guys are in the same boat!
  6. I emailed them earlier, I guess we'll find out tomorrow what happened. Huge bummer if it falls through.
  7. @Fishin Dad @Shismano I haven't received any updates on my order and the "view your order" link in the confirmation email doesn't say anything new. Is that link where you guys saw the shipped or canceled status?
  8. @Shismano I was way ahead of you and bought it from them before I saw your post here, haha. I hope they ship it in the next couple days, I can't wait to try it out. The Rebellion series is worth more than $200, getting it for $100 is robbery. If you bought the 7'3 MH casting rod, you won't be disappointed.
  9. @Kevhead19 Big thank you for the detailed info on all three rods, that's exactly what I was looking for. I was torn between the M and MH but your last sentence got me into the MH. It sounds like it can work for 1.5 squarebills and DT6's or OSP Blitz DR in a pinch. I've also never used glass for chatterbaits but I'm excited to try to fish them the right way now.
  10. I'm sorry to dig up an old thread, but you're the perfect person for my question. I love the Rebellion series and I'm looking at which glass rod to get for crankbaits. It's between the M and MH. What do you throw on the M that you wouldn't throw on the MH and vice versa?
  11. How do you like the Rebellion 73MH glass? I'm trying to figure out if I should buy that or the 7' M glass for crankbaits that dive up to 10'. I'm worried the MH will overpower squarebills but the M won't be enough for something like a DT10.
