  1. I met the cheerleaders when I was in Korea (USO thing). Course that was over ten years ago!!
  2. This is why BR is the best!!!
  3. I just asked my wife cause she handles all that crap. We have three lines on the plan however one is a child line and has nothing on it except the ability to call and receive calls from mine and my wifes phones. this all happened about a month or so ago.
  4. Yeah it is gonna be great. We are tailgating starting at 1130am when the parking lot opens up. Honestly I was a bit shocked when my brother said he was going to come from Ohio for the game, on Christmas Eve!!! He certainly has an understanding wife and daughter. I wouldn't have as good a time with someone other than him. Can't wait!!
  5. My wife and I just upgraded our plan with verizon to unlimited data, something we did not have previously.
  6. My brother is flying in to Dallas Saturday morning to go to the game with me. He is a die hard Cowboys fan and is very excited to go. He came up with this little football themed Christmas song. I thought it was great so I figured I would share. You have to sing it to the tune of "Jingle Bells" here I come, here I come flying to big "D", hoping for a Cowboys win 38-3, hey! eagles suck, eagles suck 4th and 10 for vick, he runs around to avoid a sack and then he throws a pick, hey! Cowboys in, Eagles out, Giants all confused, the birds are flying back to philly all battered and bruised, hey!! I am pretty pumped for this too, I am a Dallas fan as well and this will be my first NFL game. Hoping for a great game!! Thanks Cliff
  7. Cool video. Will be thinking of them.
  8. I am currently using fluoro for the first time, I do like it so far, mostly. Before this, I used 50lb PP on all my rigs except for my cranking rod. If I had to break it off, I would reel down to my hook/bait and pull straight back/up with the rod. usually it would straighten the hook, however, sometimes it would break. I never had a situation where I couldn't break it. I never had it break on me otherwise that I can remember. Never on a hook set or a backlash. I sure have had that problem with fluoro though. Happened twice recently with backlashes. All that said, I believe I will be going back to braid. I guess for me I just feel "safer" with braid. Cliff
  9. Very nice!! I dabbled in rod building a few years back. Wasn't my thing. I did fish the four rods I made for a couple years though. They functioned just fine, they just weren't pretty like yours!!
  10. That color was great for me this summer on a PB&J jig.
  11. I don't know the weight of my PB cuz I don't have a scale. I caught several this year that would rival the one I caught a couple years back. The most memorable one was caught on a Cavitron buzzbait with a skirt that I tied on. My buddy and I were literally about 20 feet from the ramp right after sundown, we were going to leave. I said, "one more cast" and nailed this one right along side the ramp over a small brush pile.
  12. I had a great year!! All goals met (I think). I wanted to record each of my outings, which I did. Fish a squarebill and jig more, had great success with the squarebill. I caught more and bigger fish this year than any other. It was a good year. 2012 goals include learning and fishing finesse techniques, mainly the shakeyhead. Try to catch some fish in a bit deeper water away from the bank. Get back to fishing a plain old texas rigged worm. Catch more and bigger fish than I did this year!!! Cliff
  13. Yeah, but only catches dinks all the time.
  14. I use a 7' Med rod for spinnerbaits except when I am throwing them into the really really nasty stuff and need pinpoint casts, then I will use my Powell 6'9" Squarebill rod.
  15. Got mine in the mail yesterday. They look great! Thanks!!
  16. Man that was brutal!!!
  17. *** has the 51's for $120 if that helps anyone.
  18. I am using #20 Sunline Sniper for casting football jigs as well as flippin timber with jigs and creature baits.

    Good Morning

Sure did, found another group again this morning in a different area of the lake but still on rocks. Caught two on the crank then I worked the same area over again flippin a Rage Craw and got two more. Good solid keepers again but no big fatties. Trip was cut short today but I am headed back again in the morning. This is shaping up to be one of my best weekends for quality of fish. Will be going back to the spot I was at yesterday. Going to crank again then flip a jig or craw into them rocks!!! I caught several good fish here at the end of the summer, I just know there has got to be at least one big ol goodun ready to visit me in the boat!!
