i am not 100 percent sure, but if the vin on a yota starts with a "J" is was built in japan..if it starts with a "4" it was built in the US
i had an 89 toyota when i lived in minnesota...i bought it with 207.000 plus miles on it...it had 4" lift, big mud tires, aftermarket headers, and a whole lotta rust....but i drove that thing hard as hell, off road, pullin people out of ditches and snowbanks, i beat the crap out of it...it just kept going and going...finally, right before i moved to texas...i was pullin a co workers dodge dakota out of a ditch, he was burried in mud....hooked the strap up, snatched him up onto the road and roached the clutch in the process....couldnt afford to fix it and was about to move to the other end of the country....so i gave it away...yes, i said gave....*cries* anyway the guy i gave it too fixed the clutch and drove it through the following winter, and is probebly still driving it today....looking back i wish i would have towed it down here with me, cuz now i could have it fixed...man i loved that truck!!
BTW, nice truck avid
