  1. I've been tearing up four and five pound bass up on soft plastic strike king ragebug, and have had little success with googan's squad bandito bug. I have come here to ask people (that aren't sponsored by googan) why you would overrate a plastic that falls apart on one catch, over another lure that guarantees three or four.

    I am Noah

I am Noah, I started my fish career around one year ago, however due to my lack of knowledge after about a month being at my local neighborhood pond fishing I stopped from lack of motivation after never catching any fish. I started up again one day when my brother got me back into it, on my first cast I caught a 1/2 pound bass and that ignited my passion for fishing, it's been about ten months since that happened and I've caught some nice fish (in my opinion). My personal best being three pound bass , bluegill being ten ounces, and currently working on catching my first channel catfish out of my neighborhood pond. I would like to thank everyone in this community for every question I am going to ask on this website!
  3. I appreciate the help, I purchased a 7"0 Medium Heavy rod with a 6.3.1 gear ratio reel and this reassures my worries about this rod having a similar problem.
  4. Yes, I would agree because I've caught one fish on the bladed jig and I had to use every drop of strength in my body to get a good lip hookset.
  5. Thank you for the help!
  6. No, my rod is like completely bending and it feels like it’s being pulled
  7. thank you i'll have to check my trailers
  8. Also do you think the new medium heavy rod will solve this problem given the information I posted about my current rod and reel?
  9. I'm using a pflueger trion combo containing a medium action rod with a 5.2.1 gear ratio reel, the chatterbaits I've been fishing have been sizes from 1/4-1/2 oz.
  10. I've been having a problem where when I reel in my z-man original chatterbait w/ a swim bait, it always seems that there is a fish pulling on the other side of the rod. I have ordered a medium heavy casting rod paired with thirty-pound braid hoping to solve this problem. any tips from some experienced anglers? -alabama fisherman
