  1. Does anyone else’s ocd kick in when they see a swimbait with eyes on a jig head with eyes?
  2. I don’t buy that first part at all. I’ve used improved clinch on every line type, including Braid, from 6lb to 80lb, and caught bluegill to 250lb sharks. For 30 years. Wet the line, cinch down, and the knot will be just fine. I don’t think this is a knot failure. Well maybe, but not in the traditional sense. I think the line is dug in the spool and the stopping action on the cast is snapping It, like you said. Btw I’ve found several knots tied in the middle of a new spool of power pro before. Watch for that.
  3. One of these days when I have a shop I’m going to steal that mounted rod holder idea!
  4. Thought I would add that I have some backup rods that work well also. Falcon Bucoo 6’6” MHMF, 15lb fc Falcon Lowrider Head Turner, 16lb fc I do not like whippy glass rods for chatterbaits.
  5. How to put line on by yourself:
  6. Repair guy finished up the grip replacement on my son’s bucoo. Here It is with the new grips and the other Fuego.

  9. That’s cool! omg I need a cold shower
  10. yes exactly. Good sportsman ship is not trolling where another angler is already fishing.
  11. My 11 year olds first “good” combo was a BPS Pro Qualifier and a Falcon Bucoo. I’d look at a Tatula CT for $100ish. The Bucoo has been solid.
  12. Are you actually reading what you’re typing out loud? Bass guys are supposed to let trollers cut them off between the bank and if they don’t it’s “all about [them]” selfishness, but the troller seeing someone fishing that bank and rolling through any way is ok and not selfish? Is there some reason the troller can’t go around the bass angler who was there first?
  13. Couple things. Lake Fork is cool but east Texas is pretty much a crap hole. You might see a small amount of snow once a year. Like 1 day. Lived in Texas my whole life and have never even thought twice about tornados. Nor has anyone I know. Not really a thing people actually worry about imo.
