Which JDM model would be best for C-rig? My c-rig setup is a Dobyns Champion 804c, 20lb fc, one ounce tungsten, 2 Carolina keepers, and hook. It doesn’t deviate from that ever. Usually brush hog or lizard.
I’m thinking the Zillion HD?
Went ahead and ordered the 150 in 6.3 gear ratio for the chatter bait rod. Not that I don’t like the SV in any way, I like It a lot. So I’m going to move It a spinnerbait setup I have on a falcon head turner. That rod currently has a regular Tatula CT 6.3. I’m going to sell that one. Upgrades all around.
If anyone wants a new Fuego 8.1 or a great condition Tatula CT 6.3 pm me.
Good choice on the 5 gear 150. That’s what I use and I don’t see how people throw deep cranks on higher gears. I use 6.3 for my squarebills and shallow cranks.
Lots of talk about the Zillions. Let’s talk about some of the others.
What are each of these for and which one do I want ?

Do you think I don’t also live in the real world? I fished a ~25 man club tournament today. I do not have Livescope. I bet 25% do.
I won 1st place big bass and 1st place big stringer.
No one is saying this guy should go join the opens or some major trail. But I’m telling you, a whole lot of regular club guys have equipment on their boat that they have no idea how to use.
There’s all level of tournaments for people of all levels. If you don’t want to fish tournaments that’s fine. But don’t blame It on your lack of equipment.
Btw I’m not a purist. I’ll have Livescope within a year.
The Kayak guys go out and catch fish. You don’t need equipment to know patterns bass follow. I’d bet 99% of the people I fish against have all that equipment and zero knowledge on how to use It. Those guys go out and beat the same banks as anyone else.
Honestly you could have an advantage. While go fast boats are running around changing spots frequently, you could slow down and really work an area to find fish.
All the equipment in the world can’t make someone catch fish. This is loser talk. Your lack of confidence in your ability to catch fish has nothing to do with the equipment someone else has. At the end of the day you’re competing against the fish. Not someone else.
Yep this one is the older model. Kinda blows.
It’ll still be fine I’m sure. Just could have gotten the new model for $160 or the 150 for $138. Instead I traded for the old model lol. Fml
The statement was that I noticed <after the trade I’ll add> that this one doesn’t have the zero adjust knob like the sv103 on the daiwa website. Which I followed up with wondering if It was an older model, despite the fact that the person said they bought It about 4 months ago.
